D day adventure

Excellent standard of accommodation. Overall fitted our needs very well. Some minor issues for example, 1 bedroom didn’t have any blinds or curtain and items such as glassware/ mugs were of a poor standard and only just enough for 5 guests. Those issues aside we would definitely recommend the property

Tolle Unterkunft

Wo man außer einem entfernt rufenden Käuzchen nichts hört, ist der Begriff „ruhig“ neu zu definieren. Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage nahe dem Strand. Großzügig ausgestattet und ein netter, zurückhaltender, aber immer aufmerksamer Vermieter. Nur eins: Der Baguette-Lieferservice wechselt nicht!

Toute notre famille à adoré la grande maison très bien équipée entourée d’un immense jardin . Dès que vous passez le portail, vous êtes sur une toute petite route, voie cyclable où vous pouvez vous promener . Endroit stratégique pour les visites historiques, très proche d’Omaha et très calme. Un boulanger livre votre commande effectuée par mail. Literie très confortable, lis faits à l’arrivée….vous avez compris LE TOP. David est très sympathique, son chat Jack très câlin. Merci pour ces 3 semaines inoubliables.

Dejligt sted

Huset er rent og pænt. Det ligger godt i forhold til mange udflugtsmål og man kan gå til Omaha Beach. David var meget hjælpsom og svarede hurtigt, når vi havde spørgsmål. Vi havde et fantastisk ophold.

Schönes gepflegtes Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen! Das Haus ist riesig, sehr schön eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühl und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist sehr weitläufig, alles rundum gepflegt. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich! Man ist von hier aus (mit dem Auto, wir hatten keine Räder) schnell am Strand. Omaha Beach ist schön und weitläufig, wir haben hier viele schöne Stunden verbracht.

Ferme paisible d'omaha

Superbe hébergement très spacieux, très propre et très calme. Très bel endroit pour passer des vacances entre Amis et en famille. Proche des sites à visiter des plages de colleville et du joli port de Port en Bessin. Très bon accueil de David notre Hôte et de bon conseil.

Wunderschöne Umgebung, tolle Unterkunft, toller Urlaub

Eine tolle Unterkunft, eine tolle Gegend, wirklich ein wunderschönes Grundstück und ein tolles Haus. Wir waren super zufrieden, es ist alles ganz unkompliziert, David ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, es hat alles super geklappt und gepasst. Toller Garten und ein schönes Haus, wir haben das große Haus (Ferm d'Omaha) für uns beide gemietet ;-) riesen großer Garten, ruhig gelegen, wahnsinnig erholsam. Auch die Gegend ist wirklich toll und nur zu empfehlen, es gibt tolle Strände, man kann angeln und fängt auch Fische :-) Der Bäckerservice ist super und hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Ich hatte einmal vergessen, das Geld abends hinzulegen und trotzdem haben wir am nächsten Morgen unser Baguette und unsere Croissants bekommen. Wir sind dann vormittags hingefahren und haben bezahlt und gleich noch Leckereien für den Nachmittag gekauft :-). David macht Cidre, Pommeau und Calvados, lecker, haben wir probiert und auch was von mit nach Hause genommen. Wir können es 100% weiterempfehlen. Für uns war es genau das Richtige!

Wunderbares Ferienhaus in gorßartiger Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist eine umgebaute Scheune und insbesondere in der Küche sehr großzügig eingerichtet. Es gibt allerdings kein WLAN. Der Empfang bei Ankunft war sehr herzlich und wir konnten unser erstes Abendessen bereits mit einem Cidre einleiten, der als Gastgeschenk schon im Kühlschrank bereitstand. Das Haus liegt am Rande einer Apfelplantage und an einem kleinen Seitenweg sehr schön und vor allem sehr ruhig. Colleville-sur-Mer bietet kaum Geschäfte, aber gleich mehrere Produzenten von Calvados, Cidre und Konfitüre, die vom Hof verkaufen. Geschäfte sind in den Dörfern in der Nähe oder in Bayeux, sind aber nur mit Auto (15-30min) oder Fahrrad zu erreichen. Der Bäcker aus Treviers liefert jedoch auf Bestellung per email jeden Morgen Croissants und Baguettes direkt ans Haus aus - absolut perfekt! Omaha Beach ist in etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen und war Mitte September auch Pandemie-sicher, da der Strand ausreichend breit und tief ist.

Clients au demeurant sympathique, dommage que le minimum de nettoyage demandé lors du départ ne soit pas respecté comme stipulé dans le règlement intérieur.
