Ideal for a stay with family or friends, Villa Attaros is located 500 meters from Omaha Beach. (7 minutes on foot by a pedestrian path).

Comfortable, spacious, bright, Villa Attaros is a detached house of approximately 115 m2. It includes a large living room (living room/dining room/kitchen), 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 garage with a laundry room and 2 to 3 outdoor parking spaces.

On the garden side, Villa Attaros has three terraces, one to the east, another to the south and a third to the west.

Villa Attaros, located in Saint Laurent sur Mer, is at the heart of the landing beaches (American cemetery in Colleville, German cemetery in La Cambe, Pointe du Hoc, the artificial port of Arromanches, etc.).

For sports enthusiasts, it is possible to practice sailing, sand yachting on Omaha Beach. Nearby: tennis, horse riding, hiking, Port de Bessin golf course, etc.

Bayeux with its historic medieval center (cathedral, Queen Mathilde tapestry, museums, etc.) is 20 km away (20 minutes by car).

Omaha Beach Villa.

Marc and Benedicte greeted us at the property like we were family. They were warm and inviting and were determined to make our experience a memorable one. We were there to see the D-Day Landing Beaches and we could not have chosen a better place; the location was outstanding.

Beautiful and spacious house!

The house was great! Beautiful outdoor areas, comfortable beds, big kitchen and dining room. Marc and Benedicte were wonderful! They met us at check in and explained everything to us along with giving us recommendations.The house is within walking distance to Omaha Beach and the Omaha Beach Museum. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of room. We were in the area for 5 nights and this house was a wonderful home base. We highly recommend it!

Lovely stay in St Lauren sur Mer

We spent a fantastic week in this property. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were nice and welcoming providing us with lots of information about places to visit and things to see. The house was central to lots of historical sites and museums. I’d recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Very charming and helpful hosts (thanks again to Marc et Bénédicte), Villa top equipped, clean and with good athmosphere and several terraces. Villa even provides enough place to seperate from the others (if you want to). About a 5 Minutes walk to beautiful Omaha Beach

Normandy Nov 22

The hosts were great, they came and met us to get in explained everything and stayed in communication the whole time. Offered many ideas and excellent selection of history books about Normandy. Fun home, comfortable and great open kitchen area to visit and play games. All sites historical sites and beaches were close by and easy to get too. Thanks we enjoyed and will definitely request a stay again if we return to Normandy.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at a very nice house, situated right in de middle between St. MĂšre-Église and Arromanches . Just the best spot to start your visit at the debarking beaches in the Normandy. The house is fully equiped, as described at the internet. BĂ©nĂ©dicte and Marc did their utmost to let us have an unforgetable holiday. Thank you again.

Perfect house to enjoy Normandy in luxury

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful, detached house that is fully equipped. The ping pong table was especially popular with the children. The house is close to a lot of (D-Day) history and every evening we walked through the gate in the back of the garden to the sea in a few minutes. At night it was nice and quiet and in the morning you had fresh bread within a 3-minute drive. This house is an absolute must for those who want to enjoy Normandy in luxury.

Beautiful home a stone’s throw from Omaha Beach with delightful, welcoming and gracious hosts

We loved our few days at St Laurent sur Mer. Everything was perfect. The hosts personally and warmly greeted us upon arrival and showed us how to work everything in the house. They gave us superb restaurant recommendations and checked back with us often to ensure we had everything necessary for a perfect visit to the site of the unprecedented DDay effort. We felt we had new and loving friends in France before we reluctantly left at the end of our stay. It could not have been more perfect.

Beautiful beach home that's a must in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer

Within easy walking distance of Omaha Beach either by road or by private trail, this beach home has it all! There is plenty of space for families, with comfortable bedrooms and a great open kitchen/dining/living room area for everyone to hang out. There are a lot of activities provided, from games to toys to even a ping-pong table down in the basement, which was especially great when a big storm rolled through and we wound up staying in for the evening! It is truly a great place to use as a home base for exploring the region and learning about all of the history of Normandy, from the Bayeux Tapestry to D-Day. We really loved being able to come back and relax in such a nice home. The hosts, Bénédicte and Marc, are absolutely wonderful people. They were very communicative, gave many instructions, recommendations, maps, etc, and were easy to reach when we had any questions. They met us at check-in to give a tour, and also came to see us off, and it felt like we were talking with family rather than strangers. Next time I am back in the area, I will definitely stay here again!

Séjour agréable dans cette villa avec nos enfants

En week-end avec nos 3 enfants et leurs conjoint(e)s, nous avons passé un sejour trÚs agréable dans cette belle villa trÚs bien équipée, avec 3 belles terrasses et un accÚs pour aller en bord de mer. Un grand merci pour l'accueil fort sympathique de Bénédicte et Marc, soucieux que leurs hÎtes se sentent bien et profitent de cette belle région.

Partial disappointment

Marc and Benedikte were nice and caring. However, the property was in disarray with broken lawn chairs, a rotten garage and lots of parts that seemed to be stored for no use. The 2 major points of disappointment were: 1. A filthy shower curtain in the upper bathroom and 2. The picture on the website that shows a view from the property where the beach can be seen. This picture was taken on the American cemetery, where we found the exact same spot from where it was taken. This picture was misleading and is, how about that, not to be found on the french website. Overall, not the place that the website proposed and the building is far from what I would call a Villa. Karl, June 21 to June 28, 2025

Omaha Beach Villa

Amazing hosts with extensive knowledge of both the lay of the land and the history of the region. Wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to be right near Omaha Beach and central to the Normandie region in general.

Excellent stay

Spent October half term here. It is a very spacious and comfortable house for 4 of us. We were fortunate to have some warm days when we could enjoy the various areas of outside seating and walks along the beach just at the end of the road. Lots of walks from the front door, a circular one goes past the American cemetery and at the right time of day you can hear the last post being played. The house is a perfect location to explore the area, not too much driving between places of interest. Plenty of restaurants nearby and groceries were easy to get in the village or in Bayeux. The table tennis table in the basement is excellent and there are toys, games and books to use, it is in fact a very well equipped property. Marc and Benedicte are friendly hosts, we had excellent communication and instructions in advance and they welcomed us to the house providing useful information on the area, they speak very good English and were very generous listening to my rusty French! Thoroughly recommend this villa.

Loverly Home in Great Location in Normandy

Marc and Benedicte were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. The house was in the perfect location, just a short distance from Omaha beach. The house was very clean and well equipped. We had everything that we needed and were very comfortable there. Would definitely recommend the house.
