Amazing location. The bikes were a super nice touch!!! You are close to the Black Forest and cycling into town only takes 5 minutes. The house was lovely, we were so lucky to have all the flowers in bloom during the stay. Would really recommend!

We couldn’t imagine how the house could be as beautiful as the photos- but it was even lovelier than we expected. We felt like royalty!Plenty of room to host our local guests and an easy walk to the Stadtpark and Altstadt.Communication with our host was excellent- we hope to return one day!

Beautiful home in Freiburg

We had a great stay at Ute’s house. It’s a short walk to the local neighborhood restaurants and cafes and about 25 min walk to the Freiburg Cathedral. The house is very spacious and has everything you could need.

A week in Freiburg

Fantastic house and perfect for our week. We had 80 old grandparent so no trekking or mountain biking, but instead trips into Alsace, wine tasting (kids went to Europa Park) and fun exploring Freiburg. Communication was great, bikes available if we wanted them, could not have wished for better.

Fantastic House, wonderful location

We had 8 adults comfortably stay in this house. The social areas are large and there are plenty of facilities to cover all our dining plans. The location allowed us to take day trips easily and was within a short distance of shops. Fantastically presented, with enough trust and freedom from the host to use as we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat and we were all thoroughly sad our stay here came to an end.

Family Gathering

We are 3 families with 3under 2 years old. The blue house was ideal to come together and celebrate birthdays. A very pleasant walk into the Aldstad too. Lots to do and many places to eat. The house had everything we could need for our short break.

Client Stay

I am a travel agent. I located this property for my clients who were visiting family nearby. Prior to their visit I communicated with the owner, Uta, several times. She was very helpful, she answered all of my questions, and she was very prompt with responding to all of my inquiries. When my clients returned, they raved about how beautiful the home is and showed me several pictures. They really enjoyed spending time on the back patio in the evenings. I would highly recommend this property, not only to friends, but also to fellow travel agents who are looking for a home for their clients.

Family gathering

We had plenty of room for our family gathering in a very nice area of Freiburg. Uta was very helpful and responsive. Accommodation was good for all ages. Although very well equipped, the kitchen was rather small for catering for a large group. Pleasant walk into the old town and local shops good for most needs.

Perfect family vacation spot

Lots of room to spread out and spaces to gather. Wonderful gardens surround the home and provides great opportunities for making memories. Very walkable to Freiburg. A fun bakery just down the street and easy access to highways. Parking on site. Laundry… what more can one ask? The photos do not do it justice. Thank you Uta!

Holiday Treat

Uta's home is beautiful and provided our family a wonderful experience during our recent visit just ahead of Christmas. She even decorated the house for us for the holiday season. We enjoyed the local village near the house, and her home provided a wonderful base as we enjoyed exploring Freiburg and taking several day trips in the surrounding area. After leaving, we went to Switzerland for the rest of our vacation, but our family all agreed our time in Freiburg was the highlight of our trip.
