Great family stay.

We stayed for a week with our son and his wife and two grandchildren. Plenty of room in the property and well equipped. The garden was ideal for an 3 and 5 year old.

Nice Normandy Getaway!

The gîte was superb. Beautifully clean, with everything you could need. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into setting it up. Garden is beautiful, with games and places to relax. We loved the red squirrel and the friendly cat! The hosts were delightful and There is lots to do in the area

Lovely house, amazing hosts

Lovely property, fabulous gardens for the kids and plenty of games for them to play. Kitchen is well stocked so no need to take anything extra. Property is clean and extremely homely, there was even a fire burning when we arrived. Martine and François are amazing hosts, we will definitely be returning!

Lovely Gite !

The Gite is in a beautiful location in Normandy with countryside all around. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the gite is very well equipped. It was cold in the evenings (it was April !) so the log burner was fantastic. The kids loved the outdoor space with the table tennis, archery and just loads of space to run around in.

What a delightful gîte this is We were welcomed so warmly by François, Martine’s husband,and shown round the house It has to be the best equipped gîte have ever stayed in....and there’s been a few. It was clean and well presented The children really enjoyed the garden, again really well equipped for play! A lovely area with little shops nearby, and 3 wonderful Boulangeries!!!! Beautiful Gîtes

The reception by François and Martine was very friendly. François communicates well in English, and was patient enough to let us try to speak French now and then :). We rented both gîtes together with friends and their children, and the experience was wonderful. The houses were modern, very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a perfect vacation. The garden is great for children with lots of stuff to play with and nature to enjoy. You can reach the beach in about a 30 minute drive, or visit nearby towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it especially to families with young children. Thank you for having us!

A beautiful property

We have just returned after spending Christmas at this stunning gite and felt compelled to write this review as the pictures do not do this place justice. We are a family of 5 and also took my children's grandparents, we stayed in Le Tilleul and had ample room for us all. The gite is stunning, extremely well equipped with beautiful touches throughout. The log burner heated the whole place for us and made it feel very cosy. In the mornings we enjoyed lying in bed with the windows open listening to the wildlife outside. The owners, Martine and Francois, are extremely welcoming and make excellent hosts. For all the reasons given, my parents are looking to rebook to go in November and we are looking to rebook for next December.

Beautiful property and garden with lots of attention to detail. A great base for exploring Normandy.

Le Tilleul exceeded our expectations. We were given a warm and friendly welcome along with a much appreciated locally made drink chilling in the fridge. The house itself was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The decor was fantastic, carrying the natural look and vert-pomme theme throughout. Although the properties are joined, the owners have done a fantastic job of maintaining each property's privacy. There was plenty to do and explore in the garden for our children 10yrs, 15yrs and 19yrs and a variety of places to relax surrounded by a beautiful garden and wildlife. Each evening we were able to sit out and watch the bats fly around at dusk. It was a wonderful base for exploring Normandy and only 5 minutes into Auffay for the train to Rouen and on to Paris. A house I would be happy to stay in again.

Gîte accueillant et verdoyant

Le gîte est vraiment magnifique. Très bien restauré et entretenu avec tout les équipements possibles. Le jardin est verdoyant et magnifique également. Très accueillant pour les enfants avec de multiples jeux à l’intérieur et extérieur. Mr et Mme Delacroix sont sympathiques et aidant. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir une prochaine fois.

Idéal !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le gîte proposé par Martine et François. Tout était réuni pour notre famille. Pour les enfants : des jeux à l'intérieur en cas de pluie et surtout un fantastique jardin fort bien entretenu, où ils ont trouvé cabanes balançoires, ballons... Pour les grands : un beau gîte confortable, avec lecture à disposition et toute la documentation touristique à jour. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir :-)

Très beau gîte en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Le gîte est très bien situé (à proximité de la côte...) et très bien équipé. Tous est bien pensé pour accueillir des familles (enfants...). Nous avons apprécié le poêle ainsi que les équipements pour les enfants (balançoires, table de ping-pong, cabanes en bois...). Contact très agréable avec les propriétaires qui sont très discrets tout en restant proche en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte.

wunderbar entspannter, naturnaher Urlaub

Der Empfang durch Francois (der sehr gut Deutsch spricht) und Martine war sehr herzlich. Beide geben sich alle Mühe, damit Urlauber sich wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, wunderbar und mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Keine sterile Anonymität wie bei manchen anderen Ferienhäusern. Wer Naturnähe sucht, findet sie hier in jedem Falle. Zur Küste sind es ca. 30 min mit dem Auto. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im nahen Auffay (ca. 5 km). Am Eingang steht auf einer Schiefertafel (übersetzt): "Das Vergängliche findet seine Dauer in der Erinnerung." In diesem Sinne haben wir viele schöne Erinnerungen mitgenommen. Herzlichen Dank!

Willkommen in der Normandie

Wir verbrachten eine wundervolle Woche in der Normandie. Das Haus Vert Pomme ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Es gibt genügend Platz für 8 Personen. Der dazu gehörige Garten ist weitläufig und familienfreundlich gestaltet. Es gibt viele Orte zu entdecken, z.B. Yport, Veules-les-Roses, Rouen und Etretat. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit von Martine und Francois. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Cidre und der Apéro du père Francois.

Super freundliche vermieter

Sehr großzügiges Ambiente, super freundliche vermieter, familiäre und herzliche Atmosphäre. Für Familien und Selbstversorger, die den ganzen Tag unterwegs sind, top. Teilweise ist die Ausstattung nicht mehr ganz taufrisch, wird aber alles ganz locker gesehen. Regenklammotten sollte man auf jeden Fall einpacken. ;-) Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!
