The house and grounds were amazing! Just as pictured!

Booking was easy as was contacting owners before and during stay. Would highly recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway with lots of people. Taxi needed to get to shops e.g. LIDL but there is a nice restaurant at the end of the street.

The outdoor space is the cherry on top!

A group of 11 friends, some couples, some singles, men & women- we ALL loved the property. We enjoyed our meals on the outdoor dining area, lounged by the pool and I personally appreciated the rafts! It was big enough to not be in each others space but intimate enough to enjoy being together. But as always, the people make the property. The property manager Marisa was lovely and made the entire experience seamless and stress free, which for us is mandatory for vacation :)

great family house

We really enjoyed our stay and Marisa was very kind & accommodating. The house had everything we needed and is great housing 14 people. The pool is beautiful and the big yard and bocce really fun. The only information that would have been helpful was how to get to the various beaches as it takes some research. One beautiful beach Almona is only accessible via ferry and a 20 min walk but totally worth it. We loved the house and our stay!

Excellent villa

We were a family of seven adults and six kids ages 7 months to 10 years the villa was equipped with everything we needed also high chair and baby cot games for outdoor play lg pool area plenty sun loungers and beach towels check in and communication was very efficient we only had two minor things we feel could have improved on .the bedding I assume was new for every check in but i personally prefer pillow slips and duvet covers and there was no spare bedding and travelling with kids you never know but overall I would still give my stay 10/10

There is one bath towel per person, a hand towel, and a bath mat in each bathroom. We don't always provide extra sheets and towels, but we can provide them upon request. The home was beautiful and spacious. The yard was lovely.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The only negative comments would be the beds were not very comfortable particularly the twin beds. Also it would have been nice to have a few more amenities available at move in, like a couple laundry pods and some paper towel available. We were happy to buy some. A rental car is important because you can’t walk easily anywhere from the location. Portugal is beautiful and am so happy to have been able to spend some time in the area.

Wonderful property with all you need for a family or friends gathering

The villa is as beautiful as the photos show. The pool is a very good size and all the ameneties are in a modern state. Everone loved the pool, BBQ is perfect if you want to dine at home. It is away from the street so very private. We used Uber to order taxis and they came within minutes. A trip to Olhao town takes less than 10 mins where you have supermarket, etc. We were met prompty at the check in and shown around. When we had questions during the stay they were always responded to within a few minutes. If you plan to do day trips I would recommend hiring a car. We would definitely go back there.

Wonderful modern home with beautiful pool

Stayed with family including kids and grandparents. The home is big and modern and clean with a beautiful private large yard and pool.We really enjoyed sitting outside and using the pool. One note that the house is not two villas as the listing says but really one large home where you could close off a section. Most homes we have visited have been better stocked so know that you need to get everything yourself even trash bags and cleaning supplies. There is no self check in or check out option but the local manager is responsive to try to makes things work.

Rebecca Thank you for your comment which caught our full attention. The villa is made up of 2 independent houses which are located on a single common plot of land. There are therefore at your disposal 2 separate entrances, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms... Indeed these 2 homes are adjoining and can therefore, if we wish, communicate from the inside. You have at your disposal everything you need to start your stay (kitchen products, trash bag, shower products, etc.) like most villas in Portugal. You have 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 pool towel and bed linen for each person. Indeed, if you want a hotel service, this is possible at an additional cost. We have voluntarily chosen to offer this service at an additional cost so as not to increase the rental price and to give tenants free choice when booking. A Castle Among Villas

Cozy. Beautiful. Safe. Friendly. Fun. Relaxing. Centrally Located, Memorable: These are just a few of the many adjectives that I can us. Our stay was Outstanding. Patricia, Marisa, and their team really made everything comfortable and perfect for my entire stay. We didn't wish to leave. You are within driving distance to several cities' centrals as well as to beaches, restaurants, shopping centers, tourist attractions and sporting facilities. You can easily plan day trips to venture out or you can stay by the lovely Warm Pool and just enjoy. I highly recommend this property!! Thanks Patricia and Marisa for Everything!

The images on the website are accurate for this very impressive property. It certainly has a wow factor. We were 3 families on a holiday from 12 years to 60 years and there was something for everyone. The internet did go down ( caused by internet provider not host) but there was quickly an offer for alternative which we decided not to take up as kids were off the phones and talking and playing instead.😁Marissa, the property manager was amazing at her job. Close to amenities, beaches. there were barking dogs in the adjoining houseswhich some of the children found scary but we soon got used to this so not a problem😊

Great place for big family

We had a fantastic time at Villa Flamingo. We were an extended family group of 14 - seven adults and seven kids (age 11 months - 10 years). There was plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The kids loved spending most of their time in the pool. We mostly used the grill for cooking and ate on the patio outside. But the two kitchens and two living spaces were super useful. Marisa was a very responsive property manager, which we appreciated given all our questions :) There's a very small town nearby with a pharmacy and small market. Then Olhao is about 10-15 mins drive for supermarket, shops, etc. We had a couple rental cars, which I recommend. But we also used Uber sometimes, which worked.

Golf trip

Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. This was not done and caused undue stress during the vacation. We left the villa having didn’t a long time clearing up and removing rubbish and finding bins to deposit various items - recycling- I believe the cleaners could do some of this as part of their jobs which we have paid for. Thankyou

Nous avons passé un super séjour.La villa est spacieuse et très bien équipée que ce soit à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur.Les chambres sont confortables.La piscine, le terrain de pétanque nous ont permis de nous détendre et de nous divertir.L’endroit est calme au delta près de quelques aboiements de chiens aux alentours.

Idéal pour des évènements festifs

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par toute l’équipe qui s’est gentiment adaptée à notre horaire d’arrivée. La maison est magnifique et impeccablement entretenue. L’emplacement est idéal au calme mais très près de Faro. Si nous devons revenir dans la région, notre choix est déjà fait.

La perfection!

Une sublime villa collée avec une autre, un jardin bien entretenu, une jolie piscine et un emplacement idéal. Tous les ingrédients réunis pour passer de sublimes vacances. nous avons beaucoup apprécié la flexibilité des horaires et l'arrangement de Marisa et son mari (les gestionnaires de la villa) pour les check-in et out. Je recommande cette location les yeux fermés, allez-y!
