Beautiful villa, with private pool, set in hills with spectacular views

Looking for a golf, beach or family holiday? Villa Luzia is located in the hills just outside the market town of Loule and has spectacular views across the valley. The villa is 15 minutes from Faro airport and only 20 minutes from championship golf and beaches. Villa Luzia is a modern 4 bedroom detached villa set in large enclosed gardens of over 3000 sq metres, ideal for children to play safely whilst on holiday. The villa has its own swimming pool and terraced area.


Beaches: Vale do Lobo and Vale do Garrao beaches are very pleasant with plenty of amenities and beach-side restaurants. Both are 15-20 mins drive from the villa. There are many more secluded beaches further West and East.

Shopping: Supermarkets: Several in Loule. Largest with most choice is Modelo hypermarket. Apolonia is upmarket supermarket in Almancil.

Algarve Shopping: Very large shopping centre 25 minutes drive away on the EN125 near Guia. Designer outlets, restaurants, multi-screen cinema (English language) and bowling alley

Designer shopping: There are very smart designer shops and boutiques in both Vale do Lobo and Quinta Shopping (Quinta do Lago)

Family Days Out: Zoomarine: Excellent sea-life park at Guia/Albufeira (on the EN125). Dolphins. Funfair. Swimming pools.

Algarve Zoo/Krazy World: Amazonia with alligators and pythons. Swimming pools. Petting farm with small animals. Funfair with dodgems etc. Crazy golf.

Lagos Zoo: The Algarve's only traditional zoo.. Open 10am - 5pm every day

Omega Park: More of a nature reserve. Dedicated to protecting endangered species.

Water Parks: Slide and Splash (Estombar, Lagoa), Aqualand - the Big One (Alcantarilha) and Atlantic Park (Varzea Mao, Loule) are all exellent days out (if you like that sort of thing)

Go-karting: Excellent large track near Almancil (15 minutes drive)

Water sports: Whole range of beach and water sports available at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Praia da Rocha including jet-ski, ringo, windsrfing, sailing etc.

We had a brilliant two weeks at Villa Luzia, the booking was simple and stress free and no issues while we were there. The pool was great for the kids and adults and location of the villa is great for proximity to Loule, Ria Formosa and golf, all within 30 minutes drive.I would recommend this property to a large family or friends looking for a stay in the Algarve.

A great get away

Amazing place to relax, just far enough from the town. Great outdoor place, swimming pool barbeque and all that you need for a great time. A lot of privacy, and alarm system. For us just one thing, no shutters on the bedroom windows, so the light comes in around 6.30 am, but still no down side on that, early morning and a great day. We highly recommend.

Lovely size house

Great room space, excellent air con, good service when there were issues.beautiful pool area with lots of seating. Let down by the green pool all holiday and kids not keen to swim in it but when called property managers were straight out to treat it. So nice to arrive at a villa with washing liquid etc all provided for to start you off. Great location, managed to walk to a local cafe for a traditional meal too.

Thank you for the review. We are extremely concerned regarding your comments about the pool. We pay our management company for the weekly pool service and have never received a comment like this. Indeed we have visited recently and the pool was perfect, albeit some tiles missing from where something had been thrown into the pool. This repair is planned for winter 2022. I have asked for some feedback from the management company and will feedback on this site .

Lovely family stay.

Lovely spacious property, perfect for our family holiday. We really appreciated the large bedrooms, all ensuite, and the good sized pool. When we did have an issue the owner and property managers were easy to contact and quick to respond. The villa was clean with lots of extras not included in the listing description; there was very good wifi, Netflix access, board games and books. There is some cosmetic damage in the pool area which needs looking at, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of the property. You definitely need a car to fully enjoy the location, we loved trips into town on market day, a full day at aqualand a visit to the beautiful beach at Praia da Falesia. We enjoyed a wonderful week.Thanks Jo!

Excellent villa can't praise it high enough. We did not hire a car.Went there for relaxing holiday. All amenities in villa excellent. Used to take short walk into Loule take's about 20 minutes from villa. Very nice bar+restaurant at bottom of hill 3 minute walk from villa. Very good places to eat in Loule itself. When walking into Loule you can stop and feed the horses and great park to walk through to get to town. Bus station in town. Very helpfull staff+Taxis are cheap to go anywhere. When you have had a late night in town make sure to get taxi up the hill to villa.If not you will need a few stop's on hill to get there. Thank's.Peter for a lend of your villa.Thank your staff also for looking after everyone. GREAT HOLIDAY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. WEATHER BRILLIANT SUNSHINE ALL THE TIME.

Fantastic Villa

Went to the villafor a week starting 5th August, on arrival found the villa had not been cleaned. Contacted the owner who was very apologetic and stated they would fix the issue. Around 30 minutes later a team of cleaners arrived and blitzed the villa, leaving it emaculate. A very minor issue in the end which left us confident that any other issues would have been sorted (there were none). The villa is up a very very steep drive but it's worth the effort, going with my a family group with 6 adults an 11 year old and a toddler we found the villa the perfect size. The pool area was excellent with a huge table and parasol that made dining outside a real pleasure. The villa is well equipped with everything we needed from towels to kitchen equipment. The electric gates make you feel safe and allow you to let kids run around the grounds. There is a great bar/cafe at the bottom of the drive that serves great fish and BBQ dishes and is very good value for money. Due to the heat (mid 30's) we found that Loule itself was too far away to walk however in mid 20's it would not be too much of a chore. Took day trips to Vilamoura, Albufiera and Fonte Benemola along with visits to Loule all within 30 minutes drive. There is also a wide selection of supermarkets within easy reach. Would definetly recommend the villa to family's or groups and hopefully will return again once we have ticked some other locations off our list!!

Super magnifique les indications sont parfaite pour trouver la villa. La procédure pour récupérer les clés sont top et facile. On reçois un mail avec beaucoup de détails pour accéder facilement. Dès notre arrivé devant la villa nous avons été complètement éblouis chacun a choisis sa chambre qui sont toutes très bien très belle avec sa salle de bain privative. Les matelas sont super confortable les oreillers top on dormais très bien. La Clim est très indispensable heureusement qu’elle est là en temps très chaud. Dans la chambre d’en bas près de la cuisine il manque une commode de rangement. Le salon est super grand il est top. La cuisine est bien par contre il manque beaucoup d’ustensiles pour une maison familiale.Il faudrais renouveler les casseroles,les poêles, mettre des petites tasse à café ☕️ car les mugs ne passe pas. Mettre également des chiffons et renouveler le presse agrumes. La piscine super on c’est bien amusé on a bien rigolés c’était top. On passais la plupart de notre temps au bords de la piscine. Il y a assez de transat pour tous. Sa serait top si sur le petit terrain en bas il y avais des jeux pour les enfants balançoire toboggan ou un petit terrain de pétanque pour les adultes juste en suggestion. Sinon nous avons passez des supers vacances et l’endroit est idéal. Nous avons rencontrer également le Mr de l’entretien qui est très gentil. Nous reviendrons c’est sure. Nous gardons votre maison dans nos favoris pour des futurs vacances. Merci.

Très bon séjour en famille dans cette maison très spacieuse. Nous étions 7 adultes et deux enfants de 13 et an et demi. Chacun avait sa chambre avec salle de bain et de l’espace. La climatisation dans chaque chambre est un plus. La piscine est superbe et la vue tout aussi agréable. Cependant, peu adaptée pour les enfants en bas âge avec les différences de vie au la maison étant en hauteur. Maison bien équipée mais la vaisselle est un peu dépassée et manque de quelques ustensiles, ainsi qu’un réfrigérateur qui refroidit peu. Hormis cela la maison est top.

Boa estadia mas com muitos aspetos a melhorar

Bela estadia! No entanto com muitos aspetos a melhorar. A casa em si é boa, áreas grandes, tudo limpo, boa localização, a poucos minutos da cidade, mas numa área envolvente de natureza, piscina grande, tal como nas fotos. No entanto, a piscina não é aquecida, a temperatura esteve sempre fresca e nunca aqueceu, até mesmo à noite. O azulejo da piscina está a saltar, e no fundo da piscina tem uma falha bastante grande, que não deveria acontecer. Para quem gosta de estar no espaço exterior constantemente, como o nosso caso, à noite a casa tem pouca luz na área da mesa/piscina. O grelhador é pequeno para uma casa que leva tantas pessoas. Em relação à cozinha, máquina de café não funciona bem e os acessórios de cozinha como frigideiras, etc precisam mesmo de ser renovados. No geral, a casa prima pelo espaço que tem, mas realmente há situações que deveria melhoradas. Obrigada
