About this property
"Seven Oaks Cabin” in Duck Creek Village, Utah. Zion and Bryce Nearby!
Come and enjoy our beautiful 2800 sq. ft. cabin in Duck Creek Village. Located in Elk Ridge Estates, this two story, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom cabin is located on 4.5 acres approximately 15 minutes from downtown Duck Creek Village. Our cabin has a "rustic" decor and feel, with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking trees and meadows. Wildlife viewing from the deck is incredible, with the occasional elk, numerous deer, wild turkey, and bird watching galore during the summer and fall! With a full deck across the back of the cabin to enjoy the views, there's no better place for coffee in the morning, or a beverage of your choice in the evening.
The cabin is centrally located in south-west Utah, with some of the world's most scenic national and state parks for hiking and sightseeing, to include Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park located 37 miles away in either direction. For those of you that fish, there are four lakes (Aspen Mirror Lake, Duck Creek Pond, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake) located between 16 and 28 miles away. For the skiers and snow boarders (in the winter) and mountain bikers (in the summer), Brian Head Summer and Ski resort is located 37 miles away. On top of all of this, there is approximatley 600 miles of designated trails for snowmobilers in the winter, and ATV's/UTV's in the summer. And for those of you that don't own your own machines, there are plenty to rent in Duck Creek Village! And with Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon within a reasonable distance, a day trip to either can be a great adventure as well.
The cabin itself is set up to help you relax and enjoy you time in your home away from home. It has a large living room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, large kitchen, and a dining room table to seat 8. The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, but also includes both a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee coffee makers, a blender, mixer, and crock pot. The master bedroom is also located on the main level, and includes a king size bed, 54" flat screen TV, and large master bath with a jacuzzi tub. The lower level of the cabin includes a large family room with seating for 12, a wood-burning stove and a 75" flat screen TV, and 3 additional bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room (front loading washer and dryer). The bedrooms include one bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen TV, another bedroom with a queen size bed and flat screen TV, and the third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. With central heat, air conditioning, two wood burning stoves , and ceiling fans throughout the cabin, you will always be comfortable. The cabin also has plenty of parking for vehicles and ATV's.
The cabin's location has year round access, as the Elk Ridge Estates is a paved community. And although ATV's and UTV's have access to the Dixie National Forest and its trail system, you won't have to experience ATV's racing up and down a dirt road in front of your home, kicking up dust and making too much noise. However, due to the location of our cabin and the driveway to the cabin, 4-wheel drive and/or chains for your vehicle are highly recommended in the winter due to the snow (the gravel driveway is easily traversed by car any other time of year).
Come and enjoy the "Seven Oaks" experience. We believe you won't find another cabin like it! Hope to hear from you soon!
