Domaine Albert - Pommiers

In lovely setting, among vineyards, gîte located less than 5 km from Villefranche-sur-Saône, north of Lyon. Eeasily accessed, perfect for a business trip or a holiday exploring the 'Pierres Dorées' area in the Beaujolais region. Domaine Albert is an extensive winegrowing estate (with stone-built buildings full of character) with 3 semi-detached gites, 4 guest rooms and a reception room of 200 sq.m.. Owners, winegrowers, are living on site. They can arrange tasting/sale of estate wines on request. This 1st gîte (renovated in 2021) is on the ground floor. Living room (kitchen area, dining area, lounge area with double sofa bed available to supply separate sleeping arrangement), mezzanine (low ceiling) with 2 single beds, 1 double bedroom (large bed or 2 single beds as needed) which gives access to shower room including Wc. Central heating. Bed linen hire (ask ahead) : 12€/person. Outdoors : small terrace to front with garden furniture, shared unfenced ground overlooking the vineyards (including a private part) with garden furniture, shared charcoal barbecue. Parking. Sheeps on the property. Boules court & football table at disposal. The reception room (wine cellar) is frequently rented for weddings (music). Ask owners for renting of an extra bedroom (accessed via an inside door) with private facilities (shower, washbasin, Wc).
