Loved the property, Loved the views, Cabin was perfect. Far enough from town but not too far. Scary coming up the steep road at first but the owners reassured us it’d get better and it did! Saw a bear, he was big and beautiful. The hot tub was great to enjoy at night especially when it rained, so peaceful. Loved everything about our stay. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're so happy you enjoyed your stay at Cabin of Dreams. It means a lot to hear that you loved the cabin, the incredible mountain views, and found the location to be the perfect balance of peaceful and convenient.
We know that first drive up Bluff Mountain can feel a little intimidating, but we're glad you found it gets much easier after the first trip! Seeing one of our local black bears is always a memorable experience. Thank you again for choosing Cabin of Dreams. We'd love to welcome you back for another relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway!
This is a really beautiful cabin. The view was great and it is close to everything that you would want to visit in the area without being too close. My only issue was the water at the cabin, as it was very sulfuric and we couldn't cook with it or drink it. I highly advise that you bring extra water with you for this reason. And they are not kidding about recommending 4 wheel drive to get up to the cabin, the road is STEEP. Otherwise, everything was great. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was very kind. Hot tub was awesome!

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, but we appreciate you bringing the odor to our attention.
After a lot of research, we discovered the smell was coming from the water heater. Because water can sit in the tank between stays, it can occasionally develop an odor. To permanently address the issue, we've installed a brand-new water heater system that should completely eliminate the problem for future guests.
We truly appreciate you letting us know and hope we'll have the opportunity to host you again!
We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. It was incredibly easy to book, and any messages sent to the host were answered quickly! The views were incredible and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being so far up the mountain. We plan to book this cabin again.

Thank you so much for your kind words and perfect review! We’re delighted to hear that you loved your stay at our cabin and that the booking process was easy and seamless.
It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the incredible mountain views and the peace and quiet of being tucked up on the mountain — that relaxing atmosphere is exactly what we hope every guest experiences. We’re especially glad you got the chance to see the bears during your stay, which always makes for such a memorable mountain experience!
We truly appreciate your kind comments about our communication, and it was our pleasure to assist you during your stay. As a thank-you to our returning guests, we do offer repeat guest discounts, and we would love to welcome you back for another memorable getaway.
Everything was as described. Plenty of clean towels and plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. very clean, quiet, peaceful. It is in the mountains but close to main parkway by 10 min tops. Will definitely stay again!
Everything was great except the water had a sulfur smell to it in the shower and sinks. That’s our only complaint. Everything was clean and the hot tub was excellent.

We’re so happy to hear that you found everything clean and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub — that’s one of our favorite features too.
I’m sorry about the slight sulfur smell you noticed in the shower and sinks. The water is regularly tested and is actually very pure, but if it sits in the hot water tank for a bit, it can sometimes develop a slight odor. Usually, simply draining the tank takes care of it right away. If we had known during your stay, we would have gladly helped you with that immediately.
We truly appreciate you letting us know and hope to welcome you back again soon for another relaxing stay at the cabin!
This was the absolute best experience for my husband and I first kid free getaway! The amount of peace from the cabin is incredible! We will absolutely be coming back in hopes we see some bears!! 10/10 this is a absolute bucket list cabin!!

Thank you for your kind review. We would love to see you come back again.
Great cabin, nice location. Hot tub was nice, pool table and fire place were great. Nice and quiet with great views. Kitchen was well stocked for us to make dinner etc.
The view were amazing. The road is very steep and its only wide enough for one vehicle, so if one is coming down the mountain and you are going up be prepared to back your way down the mountain. The cabin had everything we needed, although the hot water strongly smelt of sulfur with each shower. The hot tub temperature was perfect but i wish there had been directions on how to turn it on. Overall the cabin was a wonderful space to stay in.
The cabin was very nice with a great view of the mountains! The host was very nice and kept in contact with us as needed! I strongly recommend getting this cabin!
Great responsive host. Cabin is very spacious, cute and cozy. Conveniently located to attractions but maintained secluded feeling. Had a great vacation and look forward to returning.
Me an my wife loved it only problem we had was the water smelled like sewage water but it left after the water ran for a minute but other than that it was perfect loved the view!!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your experience. I’m really glad you and your wife loved the place and the view! I wish you had reached out during your stay — I could have helped right away.
The brief smell you noticed can happen when hot water sits in the heater between guests, and it usually clears up quickly once the water runs for a minute, just as you experienced.
I truly appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again in the future.
Hot tub and fireplace were great! View was all it was described as. Could have been cleaner. Floors were sticky. Water smelled terrible.

Thanks so much for staying at the cabin and for your feedback. I’m really glad you enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and the views—they’re some of our favorite features as well.
I do want to address your comments regarding cleanliness and the water. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and I see that you arrived around 1:00 PM before the cabin had been fully prepared. When the cleaner returned to finish, she noticed you had already checked in and didn’t want to disturb your stay, which unfortunately resulted in the floors not being fully completed.
As for the water, it is well water and can occasionally develop a slight odor if it sits in the tank. A quick flush of the system typically resolves this, and I’m always happy to guide guests through that if needed.
I truly wish you had reached out during your stay so I could have addressed both of these items right away and ensured everything was perfect for you. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention and will use your feedback to continue improving the guest experience.
The cabin was great, we had no complaints at all.it was very clean, the view was beautiful, also the road up to the cabin was not near as bad as we thought it would be.The kitchen had everything we needed. Lisa the host was absolutely amazing. We had reservations the weekend of all the snow and ice and she kindly offered to let us reschedule. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Morlock
Hi! I'm Lisa, a Florida native and long-time real estate professional. My husband Chuck and I fell in love with the Smoky Mountains years ago and decided to make our dream a reality by purchasing our cozy cabin on Bluff Mountain—what we now call the Cabin of Dreams. We love sharing this special place with guests from all over! Whether it's your first time visiting or a return trip, our goal is to make your stay relaxing, memorable, and full of those peaceful mountain moments we enjoy so much ourselves. When we’re not managing properties or visiting the mountains, we enjoy spending time outdoors and making memories with our family. We truly enjoy hosting and are always just a message away if you need anything during your stay!
Why they chose this property
Our cabin is nestled high atop Bluff Mountain in Sevierville, Tennessee, offering stunning panoramic views of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. The peaceful mountain setting is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. One of the things we enjoy most is sitting on the wrap-around porch in the early morning or evening—watching the sunrise over the mountains or catching a glimpse of twinkling city lights below at night. The neighborhood is quiet and private, with just enough distance between cabins to feel secluded, yet it's only a short drive down the mountain to reach all the fun and attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We love the best-of-both-worlds experience—serenity and scenery at the cabin, with adventure and entertainment just minutes away.
What makes this property unique
Cabin of Dreams is truly a one-of-a-kind mountain escape. Perched atop Bluff Mountain, it offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the Smokies and the twinkling lights of Pigeon Forge—views you just don’t find everywhere. The cabin itself is a real log home with charming rustic touches and modern comforts, including a hot tub with a view, cozy fireplace, and a wraparound porch perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. What really sets us apart, though, is the peace and privacy. Unlike many cabins packed into resort-style developments, Cabin of Dreams feels secluded yet is still just a short drive to all the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Guests often tell us it’s the best of both worlds—a serene retreat with easy access to dining, shows, hiking, and more. Plus, we pride ourselves on keeping the cabin spotless and well-stocked, and we’re always just a message away if you need anything.
