Excellent Holiday

Very enjoyable stay. House, garden and pool excellent. Everything clean and well maintained. Very handy for local amenities. Beach a 10 minute walk. Stairs could do with a handrail for those less steady persons. Instructions on operation of Telivision would have helped as we were unfamiliar with its operation.

Lovely outdoor area with pool

This is a lovely house but the star is the outdoor living space. The pool, garden and seating areas make the most of sun and shade. There is an excellent BBQ and Plancha. Indoors is well equipped. The large dining table is great for families. The 3 bedrooms upstairs are fine but we didn’t like the two bedrooms in the basement. This area is damp and smells musty. Visitors need to be aware that indoor access to bedrooms is via narrow spiral staircases. Pornichet itself is a lovely location with great beaches, restaurants and architecture in the old part of town. The house however is on a busy road and we found it noisy with traffic and people at night. Overall very good but some things could definitely be improved.

Tennis tournaments

This property is close to everything, market, shops, bakery and beach is a 5 min drive. We enjoyed our stay, the pool was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed it. Location was great. Note to future renters, the 2 bedrooms are in the basement and there is a musty smell in the basement during our stay - it was explained to us that it might be the stone and the area was not used for awhile. We did not bother exploring the reason of the smell but it was not ideal and was not pleasant to stay in the basement. The 3 bedrooms at the top floor were great and decor worked for us. The bathrooms were in good condition and kitchen is complete with all that we need. I booked this property via VRBO Canada but the listing did not provide details. Note to future renters, you will see the listing in detail via abritel.fr Overall, this property is in a great location and we enjoyed the amenities it provided. However, it will be nice if the basement gets renovated for future renters.

Belle location

Location très bien placée, proche de la plage et des commerces. Maison agréable au calme décorée avec goût, très bien équipée. Jardin très agréable sans vis à vis avec piscine chauffée.

Urlaub mit Hindernissen

Schimmel und muffiger Geruch in einem Schlafzimmer im Keller! Aus der Beschreibung geht nicht hervor, dass sich zwei der fünf Schlafzimmer im Keller befinden. Leider kann man im Keller nur eins von zwei Schlafzimmern nutzen, da ein Raum feucht ist und sich am Bettrahmen, an den Möbeln und an den Wänden Schimmel gebildet hat. Dieser Raum ist auf keinen Fall nutzbar! Die Deckenhöhe im Keller ist ausserdem sehr niedrig und jedes Zimmer verfügt nur über ein kleines Fenster. Im gesamten Kellergeschoss riecht es stark muffig. Vom Vermieter wurden Entfeuchter aufgestellt, was das Problem natürlich nicht behoben hat. Nach vielen Gesprächen, Telefonaten und Besichtigungen mit dem Concierge-Service, was uns im Urlaub sehr gestresst hat, wurde uns ein wenig Geld zurück erstattet. Der Zugang zum Keller führt über eine extrem schmale, nicht ungefährliche, Treppe von der Küche im EG nach unten. Insgesamt sollte der Keller nicht als Wohn-/Schlafraum genutzt werden und wird dem übrigen Haus überhaupt nicht gerecht. Die 3 Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Der Wohn-/Essbereich sowie der Aussenbereich mit dem beheizten Pool sind uneingeschränkt schön und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Den Keller ausgenommen ist es ein sehr schönes, gut gelegenes Ferienhaus, welches wir zur Nutzung mit drei Schlafzimmern empfehlen können.
