Idyllic condo. 2 bedrooms for those that like to sleep in. Loft and sleeper sofa for those that like to wake up with the sun. Morning coffee on our cozy balcony over the bay. It is in a quiet part of town w/ a 10 min walk to restaurants, shops, parks, swimming + late-night entertainment. Nearby activities - golf, mini golf, swimming, boating, boat rental, shopping, distillery, wine tasting, fishing,boat tours etc.

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate July 4th weekend. Big kitchen to cook our meals. Loved having a boathouse to dock our boat in. This made it very convenient to get out on the water quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was close to everything. The property was as described. The trip was great. The only problem was the check in directions. They had the keypad code to get in the condo; however, they did not have what condo number we were to check into. A neighbor helped us figure out which condo to go to.

The location was perfect and I loved how everything in Alexandria Bay was so close, we never had to travel very far to get or do anything we wanted to do. There is no Wi-Fi offered and I missed that it was not listed in the amenities; I think we just assumed it would be and never gave it much thought. I would have appreciated it if that would have been mentioned in the actual write up of the listing. The condo was very clean and had anything else we needed. Neighborhood was friendly. Balcony was a decent size, room for at least 6 people. This was the best part for me, I love sitting outside in the mornings having coffee. All in all, we loved the space and enjoyed our time in Alexandria Bay.

Great Location and Stay - Great for boats

We had a great stay! The owner was great to work with and it was very easy. We brought our boat and enjoyed use of the boathouse. The location was great - close enough to walk into town, which we did multiple times.

Not enough space here. Long time VRBO renter/owner, I do not know how this property has received such good reviews. Main redeeming qualities are the numerous bathrooms and the location. There were 6 of us, 2 adult and 4 adult-sized teenagers. Upon entry you're struck by a strong smell in the master and cobwebs everywhere. Beds were just box springs, bare minimum thread bare towels, very cheap toilet pape, no cleaning supplies. Nothing to scrub dishes, dish soap was very watered down. I had to purchase 2 mattress toppers and toilet paper from Walmart. After the first night we asked to leave but were refused any sort of refund and there was no where else in the small town that could accommodate all of us. She did bring another mattress topper but my husband couldn't enter the master because of the smell so he used the fold out with a topper. After the first 2 days everyone started complaining of itchiness that we initially attributed to mosquitoes but later realized were bed bugs. Upon check out (in pouring rain) we took out garbage, started the dishwasher and the towels. Yes we left a mess that would have been cleaned in the appropriate cleaning process that I paid a fee initially for. However I received a barrage of texts upon check out accusing me of having extra people since I used all these "extra" linens on the fold out and that I didn't put dirty towels/linen in appropriate baskets and an exorbitant mess along with 300 fee. Had to spend an hour on the phone with VRBO.

You complained 20 minutes into the trip. I accommodated every request you had. $600 mattress toppers that you stated made the beds more comfortable. No one else has ever complained about them. The laundry had been washed with a very nice detergent called “ZUM”. You left the place destroyed, ruined the house manual and threw it in a basket soaking wet. Left soaking wet towels on the hardwood floor instead of the laundry bin right next to them labeled dirty towels. Food all over the carpet and walls (had to shampoo the carpets) left trash, candy wrappers, food, empty shopping bags and shoe boxes in every room, left garbage in every bathroom, food in the fridge, towels were stained and were replaced as well as a shower curtain stained red from the red bar soap that was left a mushy mess all over the shower floor. You then decide to lie and say there are bed bugs AFTER you were asked to pay for the additional cleaning and pay for the items you damaged. Had there been bedbugs you would have notified us immediately. No one else has had the issues you are claiming. I even looked for other rentals to accommodate you and your family and none of those were good enough for you either. There is a large full bottle of dish soap and another one filled with a floor cleaning solution. So that was another lie. The photos of the damages and cleaning were submitted to VRBO and they clearly saw that you were lying when you said you didn’t destroy the house manual and didn’t leave the place trashed.

Broken sink. Broken door. Cute place. Great location.

This was a really cute place and a good location but we ran into a few difficulties on the holiday weekend we stayed . We were a last minute booking and were grateful excited to stay at this location. , The place itself is cute , comfy ,stocked and tidy with all you need to cook and use for showering and bedding. But while cooking the first meal the sink began to leak all over the floor. We had to clean up a ton of water inside the cabinets and floors and launder all the towels and clean for a huge chunk of our second day. Thankfully my husband is handy and was able to repair the sink himself. I was able to call the owner And made them aware. We were able to fix since it was a holiday weekend. . Upon leaving we were locked out of the downstairs boat house and tried to reach out regarding the issue. My husband was told to use a credit card to unlock. Agian , another issue. It did not seem to bother the owners that these inconveniences happened and I am surprised considering the over $1300 fee for stay it seems like these may be reaccuring issues.. also it is not easy access for your cargo and luggage since the main housing is up stairs , there is a lift but it is not easy to use or accessible all the time. The parking in the lot you are allotted 1 space per unit and ours was filled with someone else’s vehicle for half the stay. Guest parking was very hard to find and having two vehicles is difficult for this property.

Great location and host!

The location of this townhome cannot be beat. It is a short 15 min walk from downtown which has great restaurants and shops. The inside of the unit is very clean and neat and there was no need to bring any linens or towels. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 teens and the house was comfortable for us. Our host Emily is also very accommodating! My niece left her Nintendo Switch in the unit and Emily mailed it back to her!
