We had a wonderful stay in this most charming, colourful house in Neuvic. Many spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and several living rooms with so many details to discover. Big open kitchen, good working wifi and a fantastic safe swimming pool in a well protected green garden. All rooms had a fan, when it gets too hot. Large shady space on the terraces outside to have lunch or dinner. All facilities (butcher, 2 bakeries, pizza takeaway...) right around the corner). The house is well provided with everything you need in a household. The English landlady is a kind and warm personality. It was the ideal home for a fantastic week with our family!!

Godwin and his family are the perfect holiday renters. Such lovely people, and very appreciative and caring of our home. They kindly watered our plants, on their own initiative, which was wonderful in the current heatwave. They left the house in perfect condition. I would happily welcome them back.

Why they chose this property
Neuvic sur l’Isle is a quiet village in the heart of the Dordogne, with beautiful countryside and famous for its many chateaux. We chose it because it is so close to Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne, which had been a prominent city Roman times, and was a significant point of division between the French and Germans during the Second World War. The weather in SW France is consistently good, though there are never guarantees
