Come wintertime, the lake turns into a winter wonderland for ice skating, ice fishing and iceboat racing. Bring your slippers and hot chocolate!

House features a outdoor pergola covered lounge area with flagstone patio, while the other side offers a shady grassy area for a perfect afternoon nap in the hammock. One hour from Manhattan... yes, for real!
Orange Lake is a private lake and does not allow outside boats. It is pet friendly and relaxed neighborhood. The lake is quiet and never busy with boats. It is busy with paddle boards, children and laughter in the air. Enjoy a sunset walk around the circle, or paddle board across the lake for a cocktail at the famous Lakeview House. I always feel like I'm on vacation in this home.

Why they chose this property
I was in the area looking for a good afternoon brunch spot and came upon The Lake View House. A boat went by pulling a skier. I went right to Zillow and found this hideous, dilapidated, condemned palace on the water. Bought it immediately. Was hoping for a renovation until we discovered it hand no foundation whatsoever. The rest is history.
