About the host
Hosted by Paul Pelton

Hi there, I'm second generation, and my kids third at this wonderful place. My parents built the cottage, I grew up here and my family are carrying on the tradition. Thank you for your interest in staying here. We welcome guests to this special part of Georgian Bay. The cottage runs parallel to the water and sits overtop of the shore. Each window has a view of the bay. We are at one with the water and nature here and have a private bay beside us and connect to open water and Georgian Bay in a few paddle strokes or minutes by sail or motor boat. The water is crystal clear, great for swimming, from the two beaches, one of the 2 new docks, out to the raft. Plenty of fishing, snorkling, paddle boarding, sailing, canoe and kayaking. Easily accessible provincial and national parks nearby for exploring and enjoying. Let me know how we can make your stay fantastic. Paul
Why they chose this property
You get the whole place to yourself, do not have to spend a week in a hotel room, line up at a buffet or signup/wait for an activity appointment.
No contact with anyone but your group. Less covid exposure.
It is located in nature, with song birds all around, great for peaceful canoe or kayak rides, fishing, relaxing out of the city. We’ve got loons calling, hummingbirds buzzing by, blue jays, crows and many ducks and geese.
Fishing is excellent, right off the docks, or canoe to a shoal or point. Snorkel the bay and see the bass and pike below.
