Barnside Hangout - Country setting close to wineries and short drive to town

Welcome to Barnside Hangout on Hummingbird Lane. This 25 ft x 20 ft studio is two rooms nestled on the side of one barn of a three-barn complex. You'll enjoy the countryside, farm animals, and its location. The open concept main room features an adjustable king bed, queen sleeper sofa, kitchenette and wall mounted tv. Kitchenette includes a mid-sized refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, small closet and large vanity. In addition to the inside space, there is a covered sitting area with gas firepit.

Here at the Barnside you will likely see us coming and going to check on our farm animals. The kids are active in 4-h/FFA and have their projects in one of the nearby barns. We will leave you alone and respect your privacy, but just know we will be in the area tending to our livestock.

The property is located about 5 miles NE of Fredericksburg's famed Main Street off Knoop School Road and less than 8 miles via beautiful country roads from the Texas Hill Country Wine Corridor. You will enter via our private gated entry and travel about 1/3 of a mile down a post oak studded drive.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I had a great time over the weekend staying at the Barnside Hangout. We both needed a couple of days to get away from work. The room was clean and had everything we needed (just need to grab snacks and refreshments before arriving). Fredericksburg has some great restaurants and shops and is only about 10 minutes away. The Hangout is located on a working ranch but there were no issues. We would recommend it if you would like a clean, quiet place to stay.

Comfort and quiet in this hill country heaven!

We wished we could have stayed longer! The efficiency was perfect for a weekend trip, or maybe even a week the next time we get the chance. Thoughtful touches made this stay comfortable and the location was convenient to all the activities we had planned. Thanks so much!

Quiet country close to town.

Serene location a few minutes from town without traffic nearby. One bed/one shower cutely decorated, necessary amenities included. Perfect for couples!

I tested positive for Covid 19. Advised property manager and was told sorry hope you get better soon. I was at ER and Dr diagnosed me with Covid 19. How can I go and contaminate the entire house. I was looking out for the oweners and everyone’s safety.
