Hidden Gem Rustic private Cottage but minutes to downtown Fredericksburg.

Watching the Sun rice in the early morning to watching the stars at night. We are located on 53 acres just 3 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Featuring countryside views from the porch, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom with a king size bed and full size bathroom also 6 person hot tub. Each room in the cottage is decorated beautifully with fine art and furnishings. Towels and linens are provided. Fredericksburg has great restaurants, shopping and wine tours.

Peaceful property and really relaxing. Close to town which made going back and forth easy. I should have looked at the amenities first as there is no oven (there is a full cooktop) so just throwing that out there to double check! It was great to have coffee/creamer and paper dinnerware provided, we left our charcoal as it seems others did too and we noticed too late. Would stay again.

The cottage was great! It was convenient to town and the host was very welcoming. It had a great coffee bar and the snacks were yummy. The hot tub and fire pit was a nice addition. Highly recommended!

Very cute, clean, comfortable, well-maintained cabin. We loved the hot tub, making meals in the well-equipped kitchen, grilling, and using the fire pit. Location is awesome - quiet and lots of land, but a short drive from downtown, parks and wineries. I appreciated how the owner didn’t have signs around the place telling you what to do and not do or check-out requirements (clean up, take out trash, etc., although we did do our best to leave the place clean and neat) like lots of rental places do. Highly recommend!

The home was in good standing. The spot was perfect for a nice little getaway. They provided more than enough blankets, sheets, towels and my gawd we did not want to get out of the comfortable bed. No oven but that was okay. Everything else was great! Definitely would recommend to others!

Nestled at the base of some hills, the cottage was beautiful and felt very safe. Less than 10 minutes outside of Fredericksburg but feels like the country. The accommodations we used were Netflix, the hot tub, and the fire pit. We left for some hours to explore Enchanted Rock and lunch in Fredericksburg.Only complaint is that the pull out couch in the main living space was not very comfortable. The sheets did not fit it and had some stains.

Hot tub felt good the first night, the second night the weather was cold & the hot tub would not get hotter than 94 degrees which was not warm enough. We bought frozen pizza only to later realize there was no oven. Our fault for not checking, but an oven is a pretty standard appliance for a rental home to have.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend here at the cabin for our anniversary. The cabin was very unique and had everything we needed for the weekend! The host was so gracious to come and drop off more firewood for us at no extra charge! We had a blast and are so thankful!
