About this property
Lake House retreat kayaking, boating, bird watching
Beautiful four bedroom three and a half bath home right on the lake in Klamath falls taking in the sunsets, the wildlife, the on water activities a beautiful place to take your family and just get away from it all. You are less than 45 minutes away from Crater lake national Park. You're less than 45 minutes from the lava beds in California great place to take the kids and get away from the heat viewing all the caves. There's lots of mountain biking trails hiking trails within walking and biking distance. Also local parks with playground equipment for children within walking distance. We do have a few bikes for your use as well but we don't provide helmets. your hosts are members of the local yacht club, there is sailing every Wednesday night during the summer months that you can watch from the club or anywhere on shore. Friday night it's just the bar is open . A great place just to relax if you'd like to go you could be my guest. Couple months out of the year we have a midi hatch. These little green insects were brought in to eat the mosquito larvae years ago so we don't have a large mosquito population however the midges can be a little bit of a nuisance. The key thing is they're attracted to light so if you're out on the deck in the evening make sure there's no lights on or doors or windows open at night it's best to keep the lights off and they won't be too much of a bother. They are harmless.. the lake is very warm my kids enjoy tubing and being pulled on a the big red mat wakeboarding kayaking paddle boarding during the summer months. The home is located and it called the sac with a shared driveway. No busy traffic very quiet great place to get away. As your host we live next door and we are available most of the time if there's anything that you need just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.. welcome to the Lakefront house

Great location and a great visit to a beautiful national park. The house was lovely and the host was wonderful. We had no major issues and they were even kind enough to let us check out late.
Great house and location. We were able to take a day trip to Crater Lake and then return and enjoy the house and lake. House was spotless, spacious- and the lemon bars were delicious. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and tried some fishing off the dock. Owners were very welcoming and great with communication. Thanks for a lovely stay. .
We had a great visit! The property was great and we enjoyed the kayaks as well as the porch and game room! The kitchen was great for cooking meals. Host was communicative regarding property questions. We visited Crater Lake National Park during our visit, and it was about an hour drive away.
Lovely home, lots of room. Incredible hospitality - they provided access to bicycles, kayaks. Super responsive hosts. We even had a delicious, home-baked surprise in the fridge waiting for us!
We felt very welcome.
We had a great stay in Klamath Falls at the lake house. The house was perfect for our group and provided everyone with enough space for everyone to gather together and have time apart. The kids room was a hit with our 3 boys. They loved having a zone to themselves. The game room was also a great way to spend our time. We kayak and swam in the lake. The hosts were great with communicating promptly and very personable. We would definitely stay again!
This house is located on the very south end of Upper Klamath Lake. It came with ample kayaks, paddleboards and bikes for us to enjoy. Given the time of year, it was chilly at night and windy during the day, but we enjoyed watching the sunset from the dock most evenings. The house is big with lots of room to spread out. We really enjoyed the game room (especially the foosball table). There are two showers in the house (one of the full bathrooms only has a bathtub), which was fine for the five of us. Be aware that the master bedroom does not have a door going into the attached bathroom, making it a little less private. The kitchen is large and well stocked with all of the small appliances you need (blender, food processor, mixer, toaster, coffee grinder, etc). The dishwasher and oven could definitely use updating. The host was extremely responsive to any questions or requests, and even immediately brought over a bag of ice for us because the ice maker wasn't working (parts have been ordered). Ample propane tanks were provided for the grill. The location is great - about one hour to Crater Lake NP and 45 minutes to Lava Beds National Monument, plus only a few minutes to grocery stores and restaurants in Klamath Falls. We would stay here again.
The house was beautiful, with 4 bedrooms 3-1/2 baths. The house was very comfortable. Because the house is 1/2 block off of the street, it is very quiet. We couldn't use the deck because of the midge (flying lake bug) hatching. The oven was not heating properly, and a repair person had to fix it.
The house and grounds are lovely. The AC kept everyone (10 of us) comfortable and, as usual, my son-in-law won at darts. We took a long tour of the lake and landed back at the vrbo dock.Loved the vintage furniture in all rooms and the kitchen had several pleasant surprises. Thanks for the lemon bars.Family reunion activities kept us away from the vrbo most of our visit so maybe another visit will be necessary to try out the kayaks and paddle board. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.R&K, MontanaS&J, AlaskaM&K, WashingtonA&C, Montana
We stayed two nights in Klamath Falls as a base camp for visiting Crater Lake. It was wonderful! Great location in a quiet town, and easy drive to/from the park. Very comfy beds and linens. Spacious enough so everyone could have their own quiet space for down time. Serene view of the lake, especially for sunsets and morning coffee. Dock is in excellent condition and it was easy for our young adults to enjoy the kayaks. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool table and darts in the game room! Highly recommend this property for a family get away!
This is such a great house and property! It’s huge and can house many people, and the view of the lake is amazing! The host is attentive and helpful when any questions or requests came up! A!
This was an awesome place to stay - gorgeous home, right in the water with lots of grebes swimming around :), pretty & birdy parks in walking distance, only 50 min maybe from Crater Lake!! I would love to come back again!
Stephen was very responsive before and during our stay. Very nice and gracious host. We were on our honeymoon. We used the kayaks almost every day. One of the best hikes was to the top of a peak at Moore park, only a mile from the property. Weather was perfect as was everything else.
