A unique and awesome experience
When I leave a review I like to be as detailed as possible, both good and bad. The truth is I really can’t say anything bad about this property. I did give the online description four stars but that’s only because it doesn’t do it justice. The accommodations are actually better than what is shown in the photos. Many people complain that the water on site is unusable, the truth is it’s well water and decent at that. Good pressure and actually pretty good for coming out of a well, not very hard at all. A slight odor but that’s expected from a well source. If you’ve never had a well or used well water before it might be an issue for you. It’s remote but not that far away from civilization, no neighbors and the next closest property is well over a quarter mile away. There is cell service at the site but it is limited, it’s still enough to make calls if needed. Overall an outstanding experience, one caveat if you’re planning to rent here. You WILL need four wheel or all wheel drive. The access is very steep.

End of summer boating trip
The rental was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. We had a fun weekend!! Thank you!! But beware, if you do not have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive, you may not make it to the property . My niece’s husband had to drive their mini van backwards up the drive way because she only had front wheel drive on the minivan. It kept sliding backwards.

My brother and I are second generation owners if this beautiful cabin and property. Our family with the help of a very talented group of friends built this cabin. It is a beloved family cabin that has passed from one generation to the next and will continue in this manner in year's to come. My brother is the main caretaker and “fixer-upper” of mostly everything here and has great price in making sure everything is just right for your enjoyment. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

It's natural setting is perfect for peace and quiet! You can enjoy playing some pool in the basement or a game of cornhole or sitting by the fire or just sitting and reading a book on the back deck. A nature get-away!

What makes this property unique

Secluded, private, wooded, with hiking trails that used to be service roads on the ridge. It's a wonderful place to take in everything nature! On a clear night, you will be amazed at the stars!!!
