Breathtaking

An excellent stay in superb surroundings with monumental views. Everything was as expected, and our host could not have done more for us. Also the housekeeper was on call if we should have needed any extra help, which we did not.

Fantastische Aussicht.... aber das wars auch

Es stank fĂŒrchterlich vermodert. Trotz unterbrochenen LĂŒften wurde es nicht besser.Erholungfaktor=Null Wir haben deshalb auf die Benutzung der SchrĂ€nke verzichtet. Das Gras auf dem GrundstĂŒck(incl Zufahrt) war Kniehoch. Der Warmwasserboiler war defekt (schon vor unserer Ankunft), er durfte nur 30 min im Betrieb sein. War Boiler und Herd ( zum Brötchen aufbacken) gleichzeitig an kam regelmĂ€ĂŸig die Sicherung. Die Außensitzgruppe war voll mit Katzenhaaren.

Charmante maison dans un coin tranquille avec un superbe jardin

Nous avons passĂ© un incroyable sĂ©jour dans cette maison au calme dans un environnement incroyable. Magnifique jardin Ă©quipĂ© d’une table et chaises pour dĂ©jeuner dehors et de chaises longues pour savourer le calme des environs. Nous avons bien pu en profiter le premier jour, un peu moins les jours suivants vu la mĂ©tĂ©o plutĂŽt orageuse. Belle situation pour explorer les environs. Non loin de la maison, ne manquez pas la rando qui donne sur le dessus de la « cascata do aveiro » ou mĂȘme la descente vers Maia. Les chambres et les lits sont confortables et la cuisine trĂšs complĂšte est munie de tout ce qui faut. Notre meilleure adresse de notre sĂ©jour dans les diffĂ©rentes Ăźles cette annĂ©e. Communication aisĂ©e et rapide avec Margrit. Quelques attentions et fournitures de base nous attendaient, ce qui fut un plus pour agrĂ©menter notre petit dĂ©jeuner du lendemain vu notre arrivĂ©e tardive. Bref un sĂ©jour parfait.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in der Casa Margarida verbracht. Das Haus ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Insbesondere die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt sehr gute Töpfe und mehr als genug gutes Geschirr. Sogar Eierbecher haben wir gefunden. Die gut funktionierende SpĂŒlmaschine rundet das Ganze noch ab. Anders als viele andere HĂ€user auf den Azoren, roch dieses nicht feucht und muffig. Die Lage ist herrlich, total ruhig, mitten in der Natur. Es gibt Möbel fĂŒr draussen und auch Sonnenschirme, so dass wir mit Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse frĂŒhstĂŒcken konnten. Auch gab es einen guten Grill, den wir mehrfach benutzt haben. Die Betten waren bequem und es gab fĂŒr jeden eine eigene Bettdecke, anders als sonst in Portugal. Das einzige, was uns nicht ganz so gut gefallen hat, ist dass man die Schlafzimmer nicht gut lĂŒften kann. Nur jeweils eines der Fenster lĂ€sst sich öffnen und ist mit einem kleinen Fliegengitter versehen. Wir haben uns geholfen, indem wir nachts alle ZimmertĂŒren offen gelassen haben, so dass die Luft zirkulieren konnte. So ging es dann. Dazu muss man allerdings sagen, dass wir grosse Frischluftfanatiker sind und zuhause selbst im tiefstem Winter mit weit offenen Fenster schlafen. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung, wir wĂŒrden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

This is a beautiful house in a splendid location. You may watch the sun raise every day in the sea just in front of the yard. The house is well equipped and is easy to live in. It’s also easy to get anywhere in the island. Loved it!

Peace and quiet in the country

First the description of the property and specifically the area were way undersold. When we arrived we were blown away by the areas beauty with cottages, rolling hills, rock fencing, flowers and birds. The property has amazing views of the surrounding farms and the ocean. We feel in love with the nearby town of Santo Espirito with daily trips to get espressos and pastel nata, wine or to eat at Brasil Tropical. We took daily drives to different parts of the beautiful Santa Maria where everything was within 25 min. Favorite restaurants on the island included Ponta Negra in Sao Lorenzo where we had a 3 1/2 hour lunch and Traversso in Vila Do Porto. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to find piece and quiet, reconnect to nature and do it all within the comforts of a traditional Azorean cottage.

Alternativen zum WLAN finden

Uns hat die ruhige Lage sehr gut gefallen. Ein toller Blick. Das Haus war fĂŒr uns sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet. Ab und zu mussten wir bezĂŒglich der Restaurantauswahl erfinderisch werden (einmal kein Essen und ein anderes Mal kein freier Tisch, so dass wir selbst kochten). Leider fehlte unseren Kindern das beschriebene WLAN.

Ein Idyll in der Ruhe

In der Casa Margerida haben wir uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Es ist ein fĂŒr die Insel typisches Landhaus, von der Einrichtung und Ausstattung einfach und schon Ă€lter, aber sehr liebevoll gepflegt in einer herrlichen Umgebung. Der Garten, die Ruhe, die Ausblicke sind wunderschön, sodass wir uns prima erholen konnten.FĂŒr das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war schon gesorgt, als wir zu spĂ€t zum Einkaufen ankamen, eine sehr nette Geste. Wir wĂŒrden wiederkommen.

Kuschelige Casa in wunderschöner Landschaft

Ein wunderschöner Ort und diese herrliche Ruhe! Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Casa ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gemĂŒtlich. Vom Haus weg gibt es wunderschöne Wanderwege und die Landschaft rund ums Haus ist bezaubernd. Wir haben uns hier sehr gut erholt. Man hört ja auch nur die GerĂ€usche der Natur. Der Garten ist sehr schön gepflegt und man hat einen herrlichen Ausblick. Durch die sehr gute Wegbeschreibung war die Casa sehr leicht zu finden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und die SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe war sehr unkompliziert. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Casa mit allem, was man fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.

Santa Maria vom Feinsten

Was fĂŒr ein wunderbares Fleckchen Erde. Das Haus liegt zauberhaft, ruhig, versteckt (dank der ausfĂŒhrlichen schriftlichen Beschreibung vorab haben wir es aber auf Anhieb gefunden) und trotzdem, wenn man ein Auto zur VerfĂŒgung hat, in einer angenehmen Distanz zu allem Sehenswerten und ohne Frage in der schönsten Gegend der Insel. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld lief reibungslos, sehr freundlich und immer zeitnah und auch am Flughafen wurden wir von Zelia herzlich und in perfektem Englisch empfangen. Das HĂ€uschen hatte sie wunderbar vorbereitet, sogar fĂŒr ein erstes FrĂŒhstĂŒck war gesorgt. Uns hat in dieser Woche nichts gefehlt, es gibt nichts zu kritisieren und ich kann das HĂ€uschen nur jedem empfehlen. Vielen Dank, liebe Frau Steiner.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man als Selbstversorger braucht. Auch einen Regentag kann man hier gut aushalten. Von der vorderen Terrasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer (falls keine Wolken die Sicht versperren). FĂŒr einen ruhigen Wanderurlaub genau das Richtige.
