We were looking for something close to Yellowstone and rustic. We really enjoyed staying at this location. Very attentive hosts checked in on us to be sure we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this cabin in the woods near Island Park. It was beautiful! The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. Plenty close to Yellowstone and other recreation areas. We would stay at this cabin again in a heartbeat!
The cabin is secluded and comfy. The amenities were great for the 10 of us staying there. We got to meet the hosts in person and they are amazing.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get to Island Park, make a trip to Yellowstone, or just wanting to get up in the mountains.
We were here in the summer during our Yellowstone/Tetons trip, although I could see that it would be a fantastic winter getaway. The house is very clean and modern, with so many cute and cozy touches to make it feel homey. The fire pit is a great perk. The driveway is big enough for a little football. And the back porch is amazing for morning coffee. Couldn't be happier.
This was a great cabin nestled outside of West Yellowstone (30 minutes). We loved the thoughtfulness of the cabin-it had everything we needed! From tape to kitchen supplies, we were set. The cabin was roomy and we loved the separation in rooms (upstairs/downstairs). We did have an ant problem (ants everywhere in the bathrooms and laundry room/water heater closet) and I contacted the host. He came out and sprayed and left ant traps. It resolved the problem and his quick response and solution was appreciated!

Thanks Tasha! So glad you enjoyed the cabin and had a great trip.
Truly sorry about the ant problem. This is the first time that has ever happened and thankfully they haven't returned after the spray and traps. We will be sure stay on top of this for future guests.
Great, clean place though it’s a bit of a distance from the west gate YNP- though we knew that when we booked. The only surprise was that we were expected to haul out our own trash - and the place to take it to is closed Wednesday and Thursday- which we happen to be checking
out on. The house rule book says that to plan accordingly if checking out on those days- not sure how that’s possible since we didn’t know about it till we got there. We just chose to pay the $35/- charge for not taking out the garbage with us.
Having said that, it’s a great place with a lot of beds, fairly clean and well maintained.
Our stay was memorable and exceeded all expectations! The cabin was neat, clean, and well stocked. It served as our base for exploring Yellowstone. The cabin’s common spaces offered my family the opportunity to gather around the fireplace or enjoy breakfast around a comfortable table. We had a great stay and look forward to visiting again!
The property manager Ty was so great to work with. Any questions I had he got right back to me. This cabin in stocked! Griddle, insta pot, lots of pots and pans etc. The cabin has hardwood floors everywhere which is so nice because it makes it feel so clean. Beds were comfy and the couch was huge. I think it’s even cuter in person. Happy campers for sure. Will stay again!
We had a wonderful and relaxing time! There was plenty of space to accommodate our group. We appreciated the extra amenities, such as toys for the children, family games, and a video gaming system. The manager was very responsive and when we had a small issue it was quickly addressed and fixed. Loved the service!
The 4 of us stayed here for 7 nights. Staying in the house was cozy and peaceful. We received a bag of m and m's on our arrival however the reason for the 4 stars is because of the extremely steep cleaning fee.
The check-out requires the beds to be stripped, dishes to be cleaned and running in the dishwasher and to take your trash to the trash center which is ~5minutes away by car (which at the gate costs money to drop the trash off). I am usually ok with doing these tasks so that it speeds up the housekeeping process for staff but when we are charged more on top of it, it just doesn't make sense.
The cabin was exactly as advertised, large and accomodating. We only had three people in our group but the cabin could easily accomodate many more without feeling crowded. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to cook, plenty of towels and other amenities provided and the washer/dryer was easy to use. WiFi/internet quality was excellent. The property is nicely secluded in the woods and an easy 20 minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The only minor quibble I had was instructions for removing trash -- their is a close-by landfill but it seems designed for bulk disposal, not the one or two bags of garbage we had to dispose of. Still, that was no big deal. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone with a decent sized group looking to visit this beautiful area. We saw lots of moose nearby our cabin while driving back and forth in the evening - it's a great spot. One of the nicest vacation rentals I have stayed in.
The cabin is just as advertised and very nice. Plenty of bedding, towels, dishes and everything we needed. If I was to criticize anything it would be use caution when navigating to it with GPS. We were directed in via ATV trail that was a bit rugged and narrow. As you approach turn left on road 3940 and it is a well groomed dirt road.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Island park cabin. The kids lived the bunk beds on the loft. Our son wanted to share that it was perfect and stocked with everything you needed, he especially liked that it came with legos and even a Wii even though we could not figure out how to get oast the passcode lock to play it. It was the thought that counted. Everything was grest and we would definitely recommend this place!
Great cabin in the woods! Close enough to Yellowstone
We loved our stay. The place is huge and set back in the woods. Very nice place. Our only complaint is that there is only one window that opens upstairs which makes it hard to cool the upstairs with the summer heat. Make plans to kayak the river close by so you can see moose! A definit highlight!
The cabin was neat, tidy, large but cozy, and well equipped. For us, it was better in person than the photos depicted online. We appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked and how many towels were available for our use. Many Homeaway properties these days are not well stocked.
The directions to the cabin made it easy to find, but the road to get there was very rutted up with large potholes. That certainly is not the cabin owner's fault, but it would have been difficult to navigate with a lower clearance vehicle, especially in the dark. We had a higher profile SUV and were fine.
We did not use the garage as it was just two adults, but we did greatly appreciate that there was a cooler in there that we used daily. It was so nice to have a good one and not have to rely on a cheap styrofoam one that leaked or broke after a couple of uses.
The 3 star rating above reflects a bit of a communication issue that we had. I believe it was unintentional, but did cause us a bit of stress on travel day. We were never sent the instructions on how to access the unit and were desperately trying to reach someone that day after a long morning of air travel from the Midwest. He responded promptly when called, and said he thought he had sent that info 2 weeks prior. I had also ask about the availability of a cooler and never received a response on that. As per above, there was a cooler.
It took us about 25-30 minutes to get to Yellowstone and 1.5 hours to get to The Grand Tetons. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat.
We loved staying at this house. It had everything you would want. It was equipped with quality kitchen items and every appliance you would need. Close to Mack’s Inn, lakes, fishing, and surrounding towns. The owner was great and made fabulous recommendations. Make sure to stop by Connie’s and the Lakeside Lodge. The property manager was great and accessible too! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Great experience all-around! Great cabin, great location, great service, great cleanliness! Highly recommend!
