Horrid experience with 360Blue
The house was nicely designed and built. If we had rented it directly, we might have had a fine stay. But instead we rented it from 360Blue, with whom there was a complete breakdown of service.
First, the home had hot water in only one of the showers, and water pressure was about 50% what it should be. We were unable to wash dishes the pressure was so low. We called 360Blue every morning we were there to fix it. They acknowledged both issues, but never fixed it. So we had a house of 10 people with 1 working shower for 5 days.
The biggest issue came after checking out. We realized about 9:30 that checkout was at 10, not 12. I called to ask for an extension and was rudely told by Emily at 360Blue that I had to be out by 10. So we packed up, changed our plans, and got out of the house. I was then called by Sabrina at 360Blue around 11:45, who accused me of being in the house after 10am. This was flatly untrue. I have receipts to show that we were in the Seaside square, trying to keep our children entertained until our plane took off, after changing up our day to get out of the house earlier than expected. But Sabrina did not care. She said “I’m taking my housekeeper’s word over yours," hung up, and promptly charged me for an extra night. That’s it. Judge, jury and executioner. The charge hit my credit card minutes later, which I have contested.
I’m struggling to find an occasion where I have been treated that poorly in my life as a customer. I asked for a manager to call me back before she hung up, and 24 hours later, I’m still waiting for the call.
I've rented houses from 360Blue once or twice a year for 5 years and have always had a great experience. But this is an inexcusable way to treat customers. When you book with 360Blue, you will be told that the customer is wrong, instantly, without any proof, and even in light of conflicting evidence. It's honestly silly that I would even have to produce receipts to show that I was out of the house.
