Just an 1.5 hours north of Chicago and 10 minutes east of Lake Geneva, this location is ideal for your next group getaway. Venture into the welcoming waters of the lake for sport or recreation, gather around the campfire for star-gazing and storytelling, or cozy up inside to enjoy one another’s company in one of the spacious gathering areas.

ADVENTURES AWAIT! PRIVATE SAND BEACH WITH PIER!
Sleep steps from your own private sandy beach, where you will be ready to tackle a full day of lake life adventure. Launching personal or rented watercraft is a cinch with a public boat launch nearby, and the properties private beach with pier provide you top notch access to the lake. Whether picking up guests to cruise the lake, jumping in the lake to take a swim, or casting a line in the water to catch the big fish with your kids, you may not want to leave the water! Powers Lake offers clear water and a popular sandbar in the middle where locals and visitors gather daily to relax. If the sandbar is not your style, stop by the Rock Bar II for food, drink and entertainment!

The list of outdoor adventure options are abundant, with cyclists and runners enjoying many scenic trails in the region. Circling Powers Lake on land is a very scenic journey that covers ~4.5 miles, and it is very common to see large groups of cyclists cruising through Powers Lake on the county road system. Within 10 miles, you can also access the White River State Trail (19 miles of trail) or the Lake Geneva Shore Path (26 miles of trail). If there are golfers in your group, there are plenty of golf courses in the area.

Shopping is another adventure where treasures are just waiting to be discovered at local boutiques and premium outlets alike. Lake Geneva and Burlington offer a selection of boutique shops just minutes away. There are plenty of name brand deals to be found at the Premium Outlets of Pleasant Prairie, which is a 25 minute ride to the east.

We had a large family gathering and Katie was very welcoming. Her communication was very fast with responses to all our questions. The home was very clean and the beds were all new and had great mattresses. There was a ping pong table, foosball table and many games for the kids to enjoy. There is a large table for all the family to sit around to eat and play games. We enjoyed the views of the lake. This is a home we would return too.

Welcome to our home! We are a sibling and spouse team who purchased this home together in 2021. Growing up on Powers Lake, we always knew we wanted to permanently put down roots here and have put a lot of time and love into this home.

Originally, The Old Mill was a bar and we have many fond memories eating pizza and mini tacos here. As you can see we have preserved the bar which creates a great space to make memories with you and yours!

We are honored to host you and we hope you have an incredible stay with us.

What makes this property unique

The best part of our home is how amenable it is to large parties - there is something here for everyone! Easy lake access, a large kitchen, spacious living space, a huge private beach and a great big bar for gathering are the best parts!
