We got what we came for: A lovely and somewhat remote retreat looking(literally) over the Current River with a deck and a fire pit with comfortable beds, hot water, and enough kitchen gear to prepare meals. You can even do some light fishing from the old boat ramp but more to pass the time than get serious. This would be an amazing place for a family to set up as a Basecamp for a floating adventure. We were just two old dudes catiching up and hitting rhe river and it was more than we needed but we loved it.
Wonderful stay!! My family travels routinely to the area to see my brother and his family. I think we have found our new routine place to stay. So peaceful, relaxing, and private. Thanks for a great place to come to.
I cant say enough greatbthings about this place,it had everything we needed,it was so clean and the peace and quiet was exquisite..i highly recommend this place

We are so glad that you had a wonderful time! We would love to host you anytime.
The PERFECT place to catch up with family and enjoy the river! Looks just as it does in the photos with a very nice and safe cove for younger kids to play in the river with life jackets on.
Absolutely the best place to stay on the Current. Nice and peaceful with a great place to get in the river and swim or launch the kayaks. House was so clean and well kept. The views were beyond belief from the deck. Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful stay! Current river is beautiful. Cabin was perfect. Owners communicated with us during stay. The best was 3 days floating the current.
Beautiful setting on Current River, plenty of room, no significant stairs to deal with if you are compromised, someone was available to assist with connecting to Wifi and television issues.
This place was perfect to have a low key birthday getaway. We sat in the deck, used the fire pit, spent hours in the river via stair access, and all slept very well.
Grill didn’t seem usable and the stairs were

Hi, thank you for staying with us. We will make note to have the cleaners check the grill. We just stayed over Labor Day & grilled with no issues but it did need to be burned off & cleaned - someone had way to much fun with BBQ sauce.
This was a great house in the water. We came down for the poker run it was very nice and had it's own ramp to launch boats. The house was clean and very comfortable.
