Memory Lane Mountain River Cabin

Welcome to Memory Lane Cabin! The cabin is on 2 acres, and is right on the Nottely River (30ft from the porch). You can tube down the river, or fish for rainbow trout right in the back yard. We are surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest and the cabin offers seasonal partial views. Waterfalls, hiking trails, downtown Blairsville, state parks, are all around 10 minutes or less from the cabin! Close to Helen and easy access to the cabin, NO steep driveway/road! The house is right between two other houses, but they were unoccupied, so our stay was very private. The house checked all of our boxes: waterfront, hot tub, swing, hammock, tons of yard and porch space, fire pit, awesome game room, smart tvs, central location, stocked kitchen. The host was responsive, helpful and gave great recommendations. I loved morning coffee on the creek benches, and the breeze through the house with both screen doors open. Very happy with our stay! A great deal!

We love this cabin! We have stayed here 3 tomes and plan on returning soon Great for families, close to fishing, shopping and hiking. Easy accesss to restaurants when you do not want to cook!

The river was great. It was easy access to fish or have coffee down by the river. The pantry was fairly well stocked with seasoning. We wished there was a dishwasher instead of hand washing everything. The hot tub could have been bigger and chemicals for the hot tub should be easier accessible with instructions. Some bromine, or defoamer would have been nice to have while using the hot tub. There was traffic background noise, that slowed down a little bit after dark. There was ample seating outside but only a table for four inside the house.

We loved the cabin/house it was nice and cozy the hammock by the river and fire pit was our favorite place to hang out. would love to stay again

Awesome location

Perfect short get away location mountains, creek, hot tub, just outside of town and very quick reaponses from owners with any questions we had. No doubt we will be using this cabin again in the future.

Memories Made

I wanted to do some hiking and camping with my budding Cub Scout and siblings. The cabin was perfectly located, well appointed and warm in feeling. A+ hosts make all the difference.

All the comforts of home. Amazing view! We loved the river just out the back door and the hot tub was just the right touch. Bed in the downstairs room was sooo comfortable. Best sleep we've had in awhile! Had a very relaxing and restful weekend escape.

Memory Lane Vacation

This location was very peaceful. If you are a nature lover, then it's for you. Wonderful seeing the hummingbirds and deer. The river out back was very refreshing on a hot day. Best equipped kitchen, along with marshmallow/metal skewers for the fire pit.

Beautiful adventure

We absolutely loved this property. Such a peaceful place! We enjoyed the game room, the porch was perfect for morning coffee. We fished from the back yard and caught several trout. The kids tubed to the cabin and then further down. We saw birds, deer and even an eagle fly straight down the river. It was something for everyone to enjoy.

Girls trip

There were five high school classmates who take an annual trip together and once again, we had a wonderful time. The property was easy to get to, central to destinations we wanted to visit and comfortable. It had all the necessary amenities we were accustomed to. The back porch was the highlight of our stay at the property. Listening to the rushing waters of the creek was very enjoyable even though there was road noise quite close. We did get to experience the herd of deer in the front yard. Would definitely book again.

Family Reunion

Excellent property, comfy, great creek property, excellent communication with host. We were there during Hurricane Helene. Host stayed in constant communication. I would have liked property to have had a supply of necessitates in case of hurricane, like a wood and candles, since hurricanes or flooding is a common occurance during hurricane season. But i still give property and host a great review.

Birthday Trip for my Son

The property is very clean and the area is beautiful! The hosts were very helpful as well. Kitchen is well stocked and even had a crockpot. lol I had brought my own, so that was a pleasant little extra! The deer were everywhere and my son and his friend caught two small fish! Hot tub was very relaxing (I want one now-lol) and the game room was perfect for my son and his friends. The ping pong table and video game were the biggest hit. Perfect for all ages and a great little get away creating great memories for a lifetime!

Nottely River paradise

Loved the location and ease of getting to the property. Host was very attentive and provided great info on things to do and places to visit. Furniture and bedding was comfortable and outside amenities were great. Loved the fire pit and river access. Caught a few rainbow trout and grilled it over the fire pit. Love the Blairsville area normally stay in Mineral Bluff but it wasn’t available so gave this location a try. Now due to ease of river access, proximity to restaurants, attractions, and nearby towns will be returning in October. Thanks for sharing your home with us your hosting was awesome .

Serenity and beauty

Everything was perfect and exactly as advertised. The host was readily available for communication regarding a minor door lock problem. My only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade to a gas BBQ grill and add grilling utensils. The plastic spatula from the kitchen was not sufficient.

Nice Get Away

We definitely enjoyed our stay, and would consider this rental again in the future. The property was located near a busy road (behind the house). It wasn't an issue with noise while inside, but you could hear traffic when you were in the yard. Also, We didn't realize that the "game room" was actually a converted garage, but there were a couple of portable heaters that worked to offset the cooler temperatures.

Memory Lane

We absolutely loved our time on memory lane! Its right on the rover which was great for my kids to cafch crawfish and throw a line in. The property is very nice...lots of space to run or relax. The game room is a great touch! The area is beautiful and everything is convenient and close. Helen is only a short drive away which we loved too! We usually like more seclusion then this place has, being that there is a cabin on either side of it and there is a highway on the other side of the river, but the area is nice and quiet and peaceful. Check in and check out were very easy and the host is quick to respond. We would love to rent this place again in the future!

Excellent Family Cabin

We definitely made the right decision to stay at Memory Lane Cabin! We spent most of our time away from the home, however, the time we did spend there was very enjoyable! The place was clean and well stocked with basic home essentials. The owner was prompt with replying to my messages and most all the information we needed was in the cabin on the fridge and in the welcome book. We enjoyed the creek out back. Listening to the water was relaxing, though, the road is pretty close to the cabin so there is a bit of noise. We appreciated the fast WiFi and TV. My brother noted that there wasn’t any lamps so navigating to your bed at night may require a flashlight; there were night lights throughout. We used the game room the last night and it was a blast! Plenty for fun games to play. We saw a herd of deer one morning and a heron in the creek another. If in the area and available, this will be the first place we stay in the future. It was a pleasure!
