Short but Sweet
The cabin was so inviting and once you enter in, the picture does not do it justice. I wanted to take my 2 teenage boys and a friend of theirs somewhere they would have fun. My room was upstairs, my 15yr old stayed in one room, and my 14year old and his baseball buddy stayed in the basement with double beds. On the other side of that room was the game room. The ping-pong table and the hot tub outside was the hit for the kids. We tried to do s’mores in the front where the fire pit was located, but the fire didn’t stay flamed long, guess the logs were damp, can’t control the weather though. While the boys had their time in the basement, I had mine upstairs for my lil getaway.
The view was so relaxing. On that one day it rained, the boys and I went to the movies and then bowling, which was right across from the theater. While the boys made some friends at the basketball court, I went for a run. Oh my goodness, the scenery was amazing! 3 days was not enough time, we didn’t want it to end just yet. We will definitely come back, but next time may just be the mamas, we need a getaway too. 😉
