We loved staying here! Our host Jo was so accommodating and really just took care of every detail. The view is gorgeous. We really enjoyed the back deck with the grill and the porch swing and the birds and the view of the mountain and Lake Glenville. We will be back!
We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin! Jo’s communication was wonderful! Perfect place for our family of 4 to escape for a beautiful fall getaway!

Great Vacation Home
We enjoyed our week in this home. It was clean, well-equipped, and the most organized vacation home we have stayed in. Jo was great to work with.
Beautiful house and location, had everything we needed, close to town and convenient, beautiful view of the lake. The owner was always responsive and helpful.
We have always loved staying at this home and it is even
more desirable since new kitchen granite, new bathroom
surfaces and others have been installed.
We love sitting on the long deck overlooking Lake
Glenvillle. Great vacation!

This is the second time that we have stayed at Lakewood Lodge and
will not go to the area if we cannot stay at this house. The interiors
are lovely and the deck is wonderful overlooking Lake Glenville.
We were so pleased with the property. Its a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The views of the lake were breathtaking just as advertised. We will definitely return soon.

Each summer we travel to the mountains for the week of the Fourth of July. From now on we will always go to this lovely home. Its location is perfect for viewing the fireworks from the its porch. The accommodations were 5 star. Trillium is a lovely club and the facilities are first class.The clubhouse is beautiful and the dining is wonderful! And the icing on the cake was our delightful host.

Great Place with both privacy and access to Cashiers/Highlands
Very well maintained home with many features clearly identified. Owner was very responsive, courteous, and easy to work with. Owner lives on lower level but was very quiet and private. Great view of lake below. Easy access to Cashiers and area towns. Look forward to returning and highly recommend it.
The property was exactly as it seemed online and was perfect for a "girl's weekend/spa" trip! Jo was so accommodating and great to deal with!! The leaves had just started turning and the view over the lake was beautiful!!
The majesty of the views took our breath away. Meticulously cleaned and maintained nook in the mountains of North Carolina. We had an amazing experience to wake with the colors of the sun and to watch the snow fall on our first day. A perfect setting of beauty to enjoy the music of nature. Recommend the warmth of this place to any person or persons wanting to leave the world behind for even a short time.

In September 2021, I moved from Atlanta, GA to the Lower Level unit of Lakewood Lodge. I have a separate, private entrance with full amenities and installed a sound-proof, lockable door between the interior levels.
I enjoy all the classes at my local Rec Center (Zumba, TRX, Yoga and Pickleball), church ministries and volunteer activities.
Why they chose this property
It was truly "love at first sight'" the first time I drove through this area on a trip. The natural beauty was awe-inspiring, and I vowed then to live in this "heaven on earth" someday.
After receiving the Grand Opening announcement from Trillium in 1997, I jumped on the chance to come up. I was impressed with the award-winning community design, Lake Glenville views, and the proximity to Cashiers.
As a full-time resident I've enjoyed exploring all the Trillium hiking trails, Whiteside Mountain views, and the many local waterfall trails. There are many more local restaurants and shops to enjoy in Cashiers and the nearby small towns. The vast array of things to do is delightful for guests of any age and I'm happy to share these "gems" with my guests.
What makes this property unique
My lot was specifically selected due to its awesome year-round lake views and the privacy afforded by the private island opposite my lot. I built my home high on the lot to best take advantage of the lake and mountain views. I love the feeling of being in a tree house when I sit on the deck.
My custom home was designed especially with rental guests and friends & family in mind. The bedrooms all have their own baths and are separated from each other for privacy. The furnishings were selected with the help of a local designer.
