The Trolley House was unique and very comfortable for our family of 6. The beach access would have been awesome if the path to the beach hadn’t been under renovation. We will definitely book the Trolley House next year.

Great beach house in a convenient location on Tybee Island. The house was clean, had a cool vibe, and had plenty of room for everyone 5 people). It was close to everything we needed, including restaurants and the beach. Our only complaint was that the TV could use an upgrade. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

Refreshed Tybee Trolley

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came back to the Trolley and renting with Tybee Cottages after about 10Years. The furniture, washer/dryer and blinds have been replaced and the bathrooms renovated-it is very nice. No view of the ocean anymore, but great to be able to get there so fast. Warning that high tide completely covers the beach in front of the house- have to plan beach time around that.

We had an amazing stay on Tybee Island, Georgia! This place was absolutely perfect — right on the beach with incredible views and easy access to the sand and ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunsets from the property made the trip unforgettable. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was close to great restaurants and local attractions while still feeling peaceful and private. The hosts were wonderful and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the ultimate beachfront vacation!

The only complaints I had was that the listing said it had an ice maker, it does not. Other than that, it was a beautiful property, right on the beach, a perfect location to everything on the island. If you can bring your bikes or rent them or a golf cart. Parking fees are outrageous so consider biking.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The concept of the property built around the trolley car is very adorable. However, upon our arrival, there was a very strong mildew smell throughout the property and visible condensation from the air-conditioning vents. It’s clear there is some type of moisture issue with the property. We called the property management company and they were very quick and responsive to bring a dehumidifier which we had to run 24 seven. This put off so much heat. It kept the core area of the property very warm and almost unusable between the noise the smell and the heat. It did however help with the condensation on the vents. I don’t think we were there long enough to get the full effect it was a three day stay. In addition, the kitchen cabinets could use some updating paint refresh they’re clearly rusting and chipping on the inside and fairly dirty inside the drawers and cabinets. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The exterior doors are a little tricky, but we were able to figure them out with some practice. The views from the sunroom and the deck are amazing although you do have to stand on the deck bench to see the ocean. This will be a great location with a little TLC and once the dock to the beach is fixed after the erosion issue next year.

The Trolly House

This was a great location for the beach and town areas. We really enjoyed the time spent on the beach which was a short walk over the dunes. The beach was not busy and enjoyed the long walks during the day and night.
