Spot on in discription, a very cozy and clean secluded family stay for our family and dog. An absolute perfect stay and time highly recommend and if back in area,we will be hoping to stay here once again.
Absolutely loved this place! Host was friendly and easy to communicate with, property was beautiful and in the perfect location, clean and cozy—everything we could hope for. They also have an apartment that can be rented right next door which was also super adorable and convenient to add extra family(:
Will definitely be coming back.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice cabin in the woods close to Wellsboro for her birthday and this fit the bill perfectly. If you're looking for seclusion in a beautiful location with plenty of space, this cabin is exactly what you're looking for.
The coziest, cutest cabin in the woods! We were in town to run the Wineglass Marathon and the location was perfect - a short drive to Corning. The cabin had everything we needed and our kids especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. 🙂 Would definitely stay here again!
Check in was great, location is fantastic, house was clean. Full size pool table was better than we expected. Wish we had more time to walk the grounds. Close to Corning Museum and Watkins Glen. Highly recommend staying here.
Stayed for a few days to visit family before Christmas. Incredibly cold outside but was nice inside. Had my father over to shoot pool and then put the table back on top to shoot pool.Great stay!
Super clean and fully furnished property provided all the amenities needed for a great weekend getaway for me, my gf, and her son. Not too far of a drive to civilization. Firewood was limited but was easy enough to get some on the heavily wooded property. Great place to stay
Beautiful, very private and very well maintained cabin in the woods. Wildlife abounds. Even a rainy weekend couldn't spoil the mood. Close enough for everything to be accessible. Very clean, charming space.
House was clean, check in was easy, and house was great. Location was a distance from any action. There is a Dollar General and Convenience Store within 10-15 minute drive. We were unable to use the dart board… Could use new darts and a couple wine glasses.
We loved this property! It was secluded and peaceful, yet close to town & amenities. The cabin is very spacious and so nicely kept. Not at all cluttered like some places we've stayed. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed, which was great because we tend to cook rather than going out. We also used the available outdoor grill. The trail through the woods was a nice little jaunt and our dogs loved sniffing around to blow off a little steam. We really appreciate that the homeowner accepts dogs. We've stayed at a fair number of rentals and this is probably my favorite!
We loved this property. Very secluded and private. Saw deer several times. House is very clean and has plenty of space. Everything needed is provided, host is very responsive. Kitchen is very well equipped. Outside area is very nice, great place to sit outside and enjoy a fire in the evenings. Definately recommend
Wonderful hosts and a beautiful secluded property! The backyard was filled with amenities, outdoor shower was the favorite. Everything we needed was there!!!
This place is absolutely gorgeous! Secluded and serene and just breathtakingly beautiful views. There really is a walking path right on the property - we didn’t find it until the 2nd day but it is definitely worth finding. Lots of wildlife - frogs, fox, porcupine, woodpeckers just to name the few I can think of!
My friends and I stayed here while touring upstate for Memorial Day weekend. The cabin was in a great location, not far from Wegman’s in Elmira, NY. It was pretty hot outside but a perfect cool temperature inside. It’s a very clean spot with all the extra amenities in the kitchen. We deeply enjoyed making food over the campfire and enjoying the stars. Wandering around the property grounds made for the perfect start to our summer.
Great place to stay for a hiking trip that was mostly rained out. The cabin was cozy and had a pool table to entertain us during the rainy weather. The property was beautiful with nice views and its own little walking trail.
This cabin was exactly what we had been looking for. It was nice and secluded, yet an easy drive to Corning or Elmira for dinner. It is so cute inside and we loved the modern rustic decor and it had everything we needed. The open railings and spiral staircase probably would not be good for young children but we have older kids so it was not a problem for us. We had planned to go hiking in the area but it was very rainy during our stay. Instead, we played a lot of darts and pool with our kids which actually ended up being really fun! We also did some rainy hikes around the property with our dogs. We lost power for a few hours during the storm and the owners were quick to give us an update on timing, etc from the power company.
Overall, this was a great stay and the property exceeded my expectations. I've already shared the info with some of my friends and we may be back for a winter getaway!
This is a wonderful place for families looking to spend quality time together. Everything was clean and spacious and listing is accurate. Would definitely book again!
We used this beautiful property as a home base while visiting family in the area. It was so peaceful in the mornings to have coffee in the manicured backyard area, which also served as a perfect area for our dogs to run around, and to grill for and entertain the few family members who came out to see us. The short woods trail beyond the yard was an added bonus for wandering with our dogs. It was close enough to Corning, Horseheads, Elmira for restaurants/ groceries/gas, and to be able to see local friends and family throughout our stay. Overall it was a great vacation in a fantastic location, with great amenities and attentive thoughtful hosts.

Birthday retreat for my 21yr old daughter and her friends
The property itself was amazing.
However checking in was horrible. Vrbo never gave us login information. We were on way to a hotel when finally the owner called us back. Thankfully. Had hoped we'd of gotten a night refunded back to us as she had said she'd request them do, but so far nothing.
She did however drop off champagne for our headaches. Nice lady.
Theres no cell service there. So be prepared to find a hill to get service if you dont have the login information yet.
Other than that. The area is superb. Especially speaking from a photographer's standpoint.
We were greeted by raccoons down by the water as soon as we arrived. It was a treat to watch. As we're from the country, this place definitely has the homey feel. Quiet and cozy. If your new to the great outdoors this place definitely will ease you into it.
It's not a far drive to Watkins Glen either, or other parks or sights. If your looking for things to do.
The pool table and dart board are definitely fun. The fire pit helped make our perfect mountain pies, and the girls definitely made use of the hammock. But I think hands down the outdoor shower was my favorite. I definitely didn't want to get out of it.
So. I highly recommend this stay.
Just vrbo needs to work some kinks out.
