Le Gîte de Fompesquière

Set in the heart of a property spanning more than 30 hectares, the Fompesquiere holiday rental invites you to relax surrounded by nature. This valley, located in the Pays de Serres region, is crossed by a stream that feeds three ponds where you can go boating, swimming, and fishing.



This completely private cottage is situated in a former hamlet, separate from the owners’ home. A large family or a group of friends can enjoy the setting, which is both majestic and intimate.



The cottage has been completely renovated according to eco-friendly standards (lime, hemp, poplar), and features a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room; one accessible bedroom (2x90 beds that can be pushed together to form a 180) with an accessible shower/toilet (private terrace); 3 bedrooms (2x160, 2x90 that can be pushed together to form a 180), one of which has a loft (with 2x90 as extra beds), a shared bathroom, and a shared toilet. Terrace with patio furniture. In a nearby annex next to the pool, a fifth bedroom in the style of a master suite (1x180 cm bed—plus 1 pull-out sofa bed for a child) with a private shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included; beds made. Shared heated pool (with a bar-style cover), chlorinated, open from May to October depending on the weather.



Access to the property’s 30 hectares, excluding the owners’ house. Shared pool and outdoor kitchen.



Free Wi-Fi. Nature walks from the cottage (11-km loop trail passing through the property). Country towns to visit: Monflanquin, Penne d’Agenais, Tournon d’Agenais… Château de Bonaguil, gabarre boat rides on the Lot River, canoe rentals, fishing on the Lot River. Farmers’ and gourmet markets in the summer, the Foie Gras Museum in Frespech, local producers (prunes, hazelnuts, tourtières, foie gras, fruit). Cahors and Quercy vineyards.
