Our stay was incredible. The view that you have especially in early Nov is breathtaking with all fall colors. The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It is truly a very relaxing place that allows you to enjoy nature at its best. Also the fishing was great on kayak cove which was a great unexpected bonus.

The view was amazing. We killed 2 spiders in one of the bedrooms. There wasn't salt or pepper anywhere in the kitchen. The couch on the patio deck was broken. Beautiful view and with some better maintenance and simple things could have really been a better experience.

The property and the home are absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed waking up to the 180 view of the lake. We had a great time kayaking and swimming with our kiddos. I think this property was perfect for the ages of our kids—we have five who were with us. They range from fifth grade to a junior in high school. They’re all pretty athletic so they enjoyed the hike to and from the beaches. My husband and I are not so athletic anymore, so it was a rough trek for us. But we enjoyed taking breaks on the hike back up to enjoy the nature that surrounds this awesome property! The house is as described or even better. The host is very quick to communicate if you need anything. I will say, if you are in a position to do so, I would do a grocery pick up on the way to the property. It is about 30 minutes away from the grocery store. But worth every bit of those 30 minutes for the views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even extended a day. We will definitely be back!

Secluded escape

We had a great relaxing time- two families with plenty of nature to explore to keep the kids entertained. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub very much!

Beautiful! It was perfect for the weekend we had planned with family. We took the grandkids fishing, kayaking, made s’mores at the fire pit, relaxed in the hot tub, sat on the deck, and drank coffee under the covered porch while it was raining. We took the kids to a cave nearby and let them swim in a swimming hole. It was a great trip for everybody. The only downside was the hike to the water. It’s not for the faint of heart! The house is very clean and beds are comfortable and I am in love with the sauna! The gate lock was a brainteaser but we got it figured out- be sure you READ the directions for it in the check in instructions. I tried to figure it out the hard way. We will hopefully be able to stay there again!

A wonderful stay

We loved our stay here - home had beautiful views and space indoors and outdoors for adults and kids alike. Kayaks on property with short hikes was an awesome addition that we all enjoyed. Home was also conveniently located to trailheads (~15/20 min. for our picks), and beds were comfy.

Mardi Gras getaway

Clean house, comfortable house, the only thing that needs attention are the fallen trees that blocked the trail to the kayaks. We had a great time, very peaceful.

Fun on the lake!
