Meander up the private forested drive to a big slice of heaven! Once you enter this home you will enjoy the views from the big picture windows. They will draw you to the large outside deck where you will see the sweeping views of the snowcapped Sierras from North to South. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee before sunrise and gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Lots of wildlife to enjoy. Tranquil and peaceful property. Close to Bass Lake and Yosemite South entrance. Reservations required for Yosemite during summer. Additional separate cottage on property away from main house. There is an outdoor camera viewing the driveway only.

Special Note: Extra cleaning fee of $50 for departing on a Holiday, see additional info. DOUBLE UNIT CLEANING FEE for departing on 12/24, 12/25, 7/4 and Thanksgiving. Fee request will be sent after booking

Base price of house is for 2 people. Each person up to the house max will reflect an additional fee when booking the house.

Stay for Yosemite hikes

We stayed for two days and had a great time. 30min drive to the Mariposa Grove and 2 hours to the end of Yosemite village to hike the mist trail. Host was always very nice and quick to respond to any questions.

We had a great time at this rental over Thanksgiving! The view is nice, the beds and furniture are comfortable, the communication was great and check in was easy. We gave the kitchen a good run for its money- it could use some measuring spoons and cups and a few more pieces of silverware and plates, but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay here. The house is great! The location is really perfect for visiting Yosemite and exploring the area. There are really good restaurants in Oakhurst as well as good grocery stores. But the best thing about this stay was the responsiveness of the owners. Regina was amazing and very helpful to us. It is clear that this home has been loved. It was wonderful for my husband and me but would also be great for a family.

Enjoyed Our Stay

This is a very nice property. We enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub. We hiked most days and it felt great at the end of the day. The property is a little over an hour to Yosemite but it is a beautiful drive. The town of Oakhurst itself is a nice little town. We went ax throwing our last day and had a blast ... and there are cute little hole in the wall bars that are filled with locals. We got great eating ideas from our fun bar conversations. It was fun to mix with everyone. I would recommend this property.

We have shared our home with the vacation community for the past 7 years and love doing so. We have currently co- purchased this as a full time vacation house to share with those who want to enhance their vacation experience. We always strive to give a 5 star experience and want our guests to feel at home and be truly comfortable.

Why they chose this property

The Views!!! There are amazing views out of each window of this house. Even better, the wrap around deck offers non-stop breathtaking views. Every sunset is an unbelievable show. Morning coffee before everyone awakes is simply peaceful and fufilling. It is very close to Yosemite and Bass Lake and not far from Mariposa. So it is central to all play areas in the mountain community.

What makes this property unique

Again, the View!! It is private and away from the hustle and bustle, but only 5 minutes from the core of town, so very accessible to anything you need.
