This was not a known or ongoing condition prior to your booking. From the outset, our listing clearly describes the home’s central beachfront location, which comes with the natural tradeoffs of being in a lively, walkable area. Despite this, when the situation arose, we communicated transparently, offered multiple solutions, and ultimately allowed you to check out early without any penalties, along with a refund, so you could relocate comfortably. While we could have just as easily left a less favorable review based on a lack of careful review of the listing details and sensitivity to an urban beachfront environment, we chose instead to prioritize resolving the situation fairly and professionally. Since your stay, we have fully resolved the issue with the neighboring business, and it is no longer a concern. Given the circumstances, the proactive communication, and the flexibility extended, we respectfully feel that this rating does not accurately reflect how the situation was handled or the level of hospitality provided.
