Camp Watercolor Summer Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful stay. The furniture was comfortable and inviting. The outside screened in porches were fabulous and really convenient. Royal Destinations even had a welcome kit with some kitchen supplies which was very much appreciated. While we had a few questions/concerns (door knob at front door would not close easily and grill starter missing), Royal Destinations was attentive and always responded promptly to our messages. Perfect location across from Camp Watercolor and the adjacent soccer/ball field.

BEWARE

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although this unit was clean it was misrepresented on the website through the rental company. Pictures depicted there was an icemaker and beverage unit which is one of the reasons we rented so we could have ice for coolers and stock drinks for the beach - however when we arrived we were told these items were not for guest use. We also wanted to use the outdoor space and although the posting showed there was plenty of outdoor lights when we arrived all the string lights had been removed! We found the unit was lacking with respect to blankets and beach chairs so we had to purchase those at an additional charge to us. The Royal Destinations did little to compensate or try to resolve the issues we had.
Response from VrboOwner on 28 Oct 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you found the home clean, but we're sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the standalone ice maker and beverage center are not advertised as amenities available for guest use. Additionally, outdoor string lights are not permitted within the community, and their removal is noted on our website. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your feedback regarding the additional amenities. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here! It is very close to camp watercolor, the basketball court and the playground. Also just 3 minutes from Publix. The home is spacious and very clean. We loved having screened in porches on both floors. There were a few children’s books but no beach toys or extras. The check-in isn’t until 5pm and checkout is at 10am which I felt cut our stay a little short on both ends. It’s very clearly a “rental” - minimal decor, one ply toilet paper, no salt/pepper/aluminum foil type things in the kitchen. But overall we had a great time in watercolor.
Response from VrboOwner on 7 July 2025
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the home’s cleanliness, spacious layout, and convenient location near Camp WaterColor, the playground, and Publix. The screened-in porches really are a guest favorite, and we’re happy you were able to enjoy them as well. We appreciate your feedback about the check-in/check-out times and the home’s setup. Our goal is to strike a balance between allowing ample time for thorough cleanings and giving guests a full experience, but we understand it can feel a bit brief on both ends. As for the minimalist decor and kitchen basics, we’ve found that many guests prefer to bring their own favorite items, especially for things like seasonings and foil. Still, your note is helpful, and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue to refine the guest experience. We’re so glad you had a great time in WaterColor, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house offers the perfect set up for a multi-family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms for the adults and the bunk room for the kids. We even used the mater closet for the baby room with a full size crib. There are no extras with this rental - bring your own spices, extra paper goods, etc. The kitchen has wonderful dishes, cookware and all the small appliances too. The back patio and all the decks are perfect for early mornings and late nights. We used the grill multiple times. I would absolutely rent this house again. We had 3 families with room to spare.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was fantastic! We enjoyed everything about it. Location was great. The house had everything we needed. We had 2 minor issues. The grill was not working and it would have been great to know that in advance. The maintenance person showed up during breakfast to change an air filter. Any maintenance should be done before or after the rental. The service from the property management company was superior! I can’t say enough about how there level of service made a smooth and enjoyable trip for us. We will definitely be back.

The grill has since been repaired and is in good condition. We are so sorry for the inconvenience for the air filter change during your stay. We do give guests a heads up when any of our staff will be stopping by the home, so they can let us know if it is ok. Beautiful home!

The kids were blown away with the awesome bunk bed set up! All 3 other bedrooms had king beds so all adults felt like they had the master. We spent lots of time on the porch swings watching the people go by. There was plenty of room in the house to spread out, and fun things to do for the kids- ping ping, games, puzzles. The location next to Camp Watercolor was great. Parking for the beach club wasn’t so great. The kitchen had everything we needed and all appliances were high end. We had a perfect week!

Perfect Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was perfect for our stay. The house is beautiful and the location next to Camp Watercolor could not have been more convenient for our family with kids aged 5,14, and 15. We especially enjoyed the porch areas and the porch swings. So comfortable for afternoon naps and evening cocktails. As a family who loves to cook, we appreciated the kitchen appliances and how well the kitchen was stocked. We had everything we needed (and more) to make delicious meals, and I had to laugh that many of the things were the same as we use at home, great minds think alike! My husband especially enjoyed the Sonic style ice maker, perfect for making the best cocktails. And although we had more beds than we needed for our group, when we saw the inflatable small air mattress in the master, we couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised...it was perfect for our little one, who still likes to wander into room at night. I could go on and on, the Adorable Little green egg, beautiful outdoor fireplace, comfortable furniture, board games, all of it was so nice and so appreciated. This is the perfect spot. My favorite out of our many trips to Watercolor.
