When the Andalusian sun emits its rays, you have the choice: direct sun to tan, partial shade under the olive tree or resting in the shade. The spacious terrace offers something for everyone. An olive tree in the middle gives the area a special flair. We particularly appreciate the variety in midsummer and vary according to your mood. A covered veranda completes your lounging opportunities in the outdoor area. The pool offers you enough refreshment in the heat and is only suitable for swimmers due to its water depth of 1.60 m.

The house impresses with its very well equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area. If you appreciate the tranquility and enjoy your meal with a glass of wine under the olive tree, you will feel the atmosphere of Andalusia more than in the hustle and bustle by the sea. You can enjoy the freshly caught fish from the coast and enjoy a holiday. A brick outdoor grill is also available.

The access to the house is only via a paved or concrete path, which is not always the case in “Campo”.

The biggest attraction of Andalusia, the Alhambra in Granada, can be reached in two hours by car. Ronda, where today's Spanish bullfighting was invented (2 hours by car), Gibraltar with its famous monkey rock and duty-free shopping (2.5 hours by car), Cordoba as the former capital of the Caliphate with La Mezquita as a former mosque and today's cathedral (2 hours by car), Seville As the capital of Andalusia with great sights (2.5 hours by car) and Marbella, the glamorous (1.5 hours by car) offer you a glimpse into the past and present of Andalsia.

In the immediate vicinity, a trip to Malaga, birthplace of Picasso with Museo Picasso and Museo Carmen Thyssen, with the old market hall, cathedral and Alcazaba and various shopping opportunities is worthwhile. You should also visit Nerja with its famous stalactite caves and the 'Balcon Europe' (30 minutes).

You can go hiking in the nearby nature reserve above Competa (15 minutes by car).

A lovely house, comfortable and very well appointed in a beautiful, tranquil location.The house is very much as shown in the photographs and the facilities are excellent. We very much enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the lovely views. Having the pool to cool down on a hot day was a real bonus. Michael the owner couldn’t have been more helpful as was Claudia the local property manager. Great restaurants in Sayalonga meant we had some delicious food and the local small shops plus the Lidl only about 8 to 9 km away meant excellent supplies were readily available. We did have a fairly powerful rental car with a high wheelbase and this was particularly useful on the steep and rugged local roads. Very much recommended.

Wonderful villa with amazing views

We had a great stay at Los Olivos. The house is very comfortable, has everything you could possibly need and an excellent choice of seating areas and terraces, some with shade and some with sun and all with such beautiful views, ranging from the sea in the south to the snowy mountains in the north. The garden is mature with lovely trees, flowers and birds and the swimming pool has salt water which is such an improvement versus the usual chloride. Gitti and the owners welcomed us and made sure all was well. The road up is fully concrete and after 2 or 3 drives is quite easy. The village is not far away, it could be walked even. The beaches and restaurants of Torre and Caleta are 15 mins away. We will be back!

Paradies mit aufregender Anfahrt!

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Gitti und Thomas war sehr angenehm. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der fantastische Garten, die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten, der Ausblick, der Pool, Ausstattung, insbesondere der Küche und die stabile Wi-Fi Verbindung. Wir waren sechs Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz, obwohl die Betten recht schmal sind. Vielen Dank, wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Ein Auto ist zwingend notwendig.

Aufenthalt in Sayalonga

Wir waren für 6 Wochen im Los Olivos, Sayalonga. Die Zufahrt zum Haus war spektakulär, mit der Zeit jedoch machbar. Das Haus ist grosszügig und schön gelegen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist absolut am richtigen Ort. Der Pool war neu und tiptop in Ordnung. Thomas war regelmässig da und hat Diesen gereinigt. Ebenfalls hat er uns sehr unterstützt beziehungsweise beraten bezgl. Wasser und Elekrizität. Die Verwaltung in Sayalonga war eher mühsam. Wobei der Besitzer sehr nett ist, sich leider nicht vor Ort befindet. Für Personen mit Behinderung (oder etwas älter) ist die Lage nicht wirklich geeignet.

Mit Blick in die Berge und auf Sayalonga, Erfrischung im Pool, rundum ausgestattetem Ferienhaus und sehr netten Vermietern konnten wir den Urlaub wunderbar genießen und uns sehr gut erholen... Très belle maison

Très jolie maison au dessus du village de Sayalonga. Propre et très bien équipé. La piscine est idéal pour se rafraîchir. La maison est fraîchement repeinte et l'extérieur et très jolie, le jardin est bien entretenu. Très calme et reposant, plusieurs tables, plusieurs endroits où manger dans la propriété à l'ombre. Plage à 20 min en voiture. L'accès de Sayalonga à la maison se fait par une piste qui monte beaucoup, le croisement entre deux voitures sur la dernière partie est impossible. Avec le temps l'ascension se fait sans problème. La communication avec le propriétaire n'est pas des mieux. L'accueil s'est fait par téléphone, on aime ou on aime pas. Attention maison sans climatisation ni ventilateur, les journées sont chaudes et donc le soir la maison reste chaude.

Outstanding Tranquil Villa with Mountain Views

Villa is located high in the mountains with idyllic views of the surrounding area. We were greeted by Gitti upon arrival at the parking spot just after dark to be shown to the Villa. We spent 1 week not leaving the Villa except to visit the closest Lidl (30 Minute Drive) or to visit the town (Open from 8:30am - 2pm). It is possible to just use the town for supplies and probably as cheap as the Lidl. We used the recommended car rental from the owner Helle Hollis and hired a Skoda Citi (1 litre, 3Cyl) With 4 people and luggage if you are not used to very steep hills it is a challenging drive. By the end of the week it was perfected, to avoid this learning curve book your car 30 days in advance for a cheap upgrade for something with 4 cylinders! The Villa was as described with fantastic views, 3 great outdoor eating locations and a breakfast veranda for tea and toast with a view. It was very well equipped, all in all the best I've experienced.

Top Ferienhaus mit super Ausblick

Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es fehlt an nichts und es war sehr sauber. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Die Anfahrt ist ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber man bekommt Übung. Tagsüber findet man immer ein Plätzchen im Schatten.

An amazing place

The villa was perfect. The kitchen is the most well equiped in any villa I've ever rented. The location was so beautiful and the shade from the olive trees was perfect for my husband who does not fare so well in blazing sun ( which I love!). The village of Sayalonga is very small but has a few very good restaurants and a relaxed atmosphere with lovely locals. We decided not to hire a car and would walk to the village which is 20 minutes downhill then use the local taxi driver to get back, what a lovely man, we were sad to say goodbye! He would pick my husband up who is disabled and has difficulty walking, and take us home after dinner. I would say this was one of the best, most relaxing holidays I have ever had, the villa had everything we needed, I had my adult son and 13 year old and the pool was a perfect depth for them to enjoy, it is in a stunning location and the local area is wonderful.

Super dejligt hus i bjergene

Vi har haft en fantastisk ferie i Los Olivos. Huset ligger pragtfuldt i bjergene med en fantastisk udsigt. Og det giver god motion at gå ned til Sayalonga og tilbage igen. Huset er meget veludstyret og vi manglede intet der. Udenomsarealerne er super gode, og der var altid mulighed for at finde en skyggeplads. Kan varmt anbefales, hvis man vil have en afslappende ferie i fred og ro.

Lo hemos pasado muy bien.la casa muy equipada y bonita.la piscina muy limpia.los dueños muy agradables.La dueña habla español y estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltase nada.La casa tiene unas vistas muy bonitas...esta en la sierra.el camino hacia arriba lo peor.hay que subir y es estrecho.Lo pasamos muy bien.

Matig!

Matig. Het huis is ok, maar echt totaal geen 5 sterren waard. Min punten: * de weg om er te komen is prive en niet fantastisch aangelegd. Een auto kan ivm met de stijlheid van de berg enkel in zijn 1 omhoog. Dat is geen probleem, maar oudere mensen (waar wij mee waren) ervaren dit als lastig (in Nederland kennen wij zoiets niet). Dit mag best vermeld worden. * Ik heb 2 weken op het bankkussen geslapen, omdat het eigenlijke hoofdkussen te klein en vies was * Benen steken uit bed als je slaapt, niet meer van deze tijd (ik ben 1,75 lang) * 4 lampen kapot gegaan tijdens verblijf en na meerder meldingen zijn ze niet verwisseld * het is gewoon wat gedateerd (er zijn tijdens ons verblijf 4 lampen kapot gegaan, de afzuigkap stopte ineens een roostertje viel spontaan van de muur). De durft op een gegeven moment niets meer aan te raken ;-) Overigens kan dit natuurlijk altijd zomaar gebeuren, maar wel jammer dat je dit aangeeft bij de eigenaar later en hierop krijg je dan geen reactie meer... Pluspunten: * er werden extra handdoeken na 2 dagen bijgebracht, zeer fijn * het dorpje Sayalonga heeft een leuk restaurant (Jocavi) ,waar je spotgoedkoop heerlijk kan eten. Hier zit je 1,5 km bergklimming vandaan.

Lieber Gast, danke für die offene Bewertung. Hierzu gebe ich gern weitere Informationen. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist zwar auf den letzten Metern etwas steil, aber der ganze Weg ist betoniert. Im Campo ist dies keine Selbstverständlichkeit und verhindert, dass nach Regen auf unbefestigtem Grund starke Spurrillen entstehen können und die Anfahrt erschweren. Die Bettwäsche ist neu gekauft und die Kissen sind kein Jahr alt und werden regelmäßig gereinigt. Stark verschmutzte Kissen werden immer durch neue ersetzt. Sollte etwas zu beanstanden sein, stehen Betreuer vor Ort zur Verfügung, die jederzeit beanstandete Kissen auswechseln können. Sie wechseln auch die Glühbirnen, wenn sie von ihrem Ausfall erfahren. Da die Betten über eine Länge bis zu 2 Metern verfügen, tut es mir sehr leid, wenn das Schlaferlebnis getrübt worden ist. Den Hinweis auf ein gelockertes Gitter, dass sich während des Aufenthaltes gelöst hat, habe ich dankend angenommen und direkt eine Befestigung in Auftrag gegeben. Ich bin sehr bemüht, auftretende Probleme sofort vor Ort und so schnell wie möglich beheben zu lassen, um den Urlaub ungetrübt in Los Olivos verbringen zu können. Vier Wochen Erholung pur

Los Olivos is ein schön gelegenes Haus über dem weißen Dorf Sayalonga. Hier kann man wunderschöne Morgen- und Abendstimmungen auf der Westterrasse erleben und die Berge der Axarquia bestaunen..Das Haus bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort. Es ist eine gut eingerichtete Küche vorhanden, in der man sehr gut kochen kann. Der Pool war ein magischer Anziehungspunkt für unsere Kinder. Sie waren kaum aus dem Wasser zu bekommen. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und hier kann man wirklich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter.

Schicke Finca in den Bergen -toller Familienurlaub

Herrlich gelegene Finca mit tollem Ausblick auf die Berge über Sayalonga. Haus komplett eingerichtet mit wunderschönem Garten- und Terassenbereich. Für uns ein entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub in einem Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl fühlten. Es fehlte an nichts. Hoher Standard in allem. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen, vor allem den großen Pool, den Schatten vom idyllischen Olivenbaum und die herrliche Ruhe. Für uns ein sehr empfehlenswertes Urlaubsdomizil!!!

Eine ruhige Oase

Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub in dieser Finca weitab vom Touristenrummel. Das Haus liegt schön in den Bergen und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Es war alles vorhanden und tiptop. Eine große Bibliothek ist auch vorhanden, sodass man man hervorragend entspannen kann. Die ausführlichen Ausflugtipps und Hinweise für die Umgebung haben wir gerne verwendet und uns den Urlaub somit konfortabler gemacht. Besten Dank und viele Grüße aus Berlin!
