Thank you, Vicki and Darrel
My friends and I had a great stay. It's a beautiful area, secluded with excellent amenities including the private dock and fire pit. Vicki greeted our group to show us the ins & outs while also surprising us with a few gifts! Her and her husband were very courteous and offered to stop by and help with anything we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back again.
The house was perfect for our two families with our young adult children. We rented a boat, but didn’t need to. The dock was perfect to swim off of. The kids loved the firepit and yard. We even took nightly walks to visit the cows by the pond. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly and the table sat everyone.

Perfect setup on the lake, Great house, Amazing Hostess!
The house was super clean and very well decorated. The entire property was well manicured. The dock was just what we needed with a great location on the lake. Vicki went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had everything we needed and MORE. She thought of everyone in the group! Vicki was the best hostess I've ever encountered!! We will definitely go back!
This house tops all! It has everything you need and more to enjoy a nice lake retreat. Owner was accessible, personable and available if we needed anything. We had 15 family members stay here and there was plenty of room to visit and relax. The lake was great and everything we needed was stocked and ready! We spent evenings around the awesome fire pit and never had to leave the property. Another bonus was the handicap access for our 82 yr old mother. She so enjoyed being able to get around and be with family! This place is the absolute best and the owners are the best!!
All of us agreed this was by far one of our best vacations. The pictures do not do this property justice. The house has beautifully remodeled bathrooms, the perfect layout for multiple families with kids/teens, and is set right in its own little cove. We were in the water the entire day and never had a boat come too close. You can tell Vicky has hospitality experience. She is an amazing host who makes you feel very welcomed and spoiled.
Private and no neighbors. Lots of wildlife. The dock made it easy for dropping kids off for naps and lunches. The host was fantastic and the place was well stocked. All perfect. Nighttime fires and s'mores were a treat for the grandkids and adults. The moon reflecting on the water was great. Fantastic views. We love this part of the lake. Weekdays very little traffic still. Weekends are getting busier nowadays from 25 years ago, but still doable. Now third generation of our family introduced to point 25 for jumping experience.

About the host
Hosted by Vicki and Darrel Reddick
Darrel and Vicki reside in Eureka Springs, Arkansas where they both grew up and went to school. Marrying in1992. Darrel, since 1984, is an Electrical Contractor/ Well pump installer by trade. He was born and raised around Holiday Island and is a native Arkansan. Darrel comes from many generations of cattle producers. He and Vicki operate a large farm/ranch raising beef cattle, horses, and a few goats. In his very little spare time, he loves to hunt all types of wildlife and go fishing. He loves his horses and was quite good at Team Roping winning jackpots and numerous belt buckles. Vicki, a first generation American, moved to Eureka Springs with her Czech immigrant parents in 1979. Growing up and working in the hotel/restaurant industry with her family. Vicki is a Chef cooking the ethnic Czech recipes of her heritage. In her spare time, she loves the farm and being outdoors gardening or playing Pickleball.
Why they chose this property
They were finally able to purchase the farm in December 2019 after leasing the land for 25 years for cattle production. This was the best of both worlds, a 242-acre farm on the lake with a house and private boat dock plus over half a mile of lake frontage! This is a property that you want to keep in the family to be enjoyed for generations. Quiet, secluded, spacious, and no neighbors!
What makes this property unique
Since they weren't able to live on the property yet, they decided to remodel the house and share it with other people. Since Vicki is familiar with the hotel industry and what vacationing guests look for in accommodations, she and Darrel remodeled the house to be a vacation rental. They wanted to create a place that they would look for if they could get away for a few days. Quiet, secluded, beautiful outdoor scenery, away from the daily stresses of running businesses! The house had to have plenty of bathrooms and spacious living areas so everyone would not feeling cramped. Supportive memory foam mattresses for a good night sleep. Luxurious bed and bath linens were chosen. Modern kitchen appliances and a well-stocked kitchen was a must for guests that love to cook. Decor is comfortable and clean but not stuffy. Cleanliness is on the top of the list. Vicki is a seasoned pro when it comes to AAA inspectors and their white glove inspections! Plenty of outdoor patios and porches to sit and enjoy alone or with family and friends. The dock is the only one in the cove for plenty of swimming and morning coffee drinking. Evenings at the house are very quiet and peaceful, no highway or city noises can be heard. Crickets and Owls are the only noise makers, sometimes an occasional Moo from the cows on the property.
