Hickory Grove Hideaway provides the perfect accommodations for fisherman, hunters, family reunions, camps, couple's get-aways, and any other occasion you can think of!

We boast a 12 slip boat dock available for our guests with a public boat launch within 1/4 mile, shared fire pit, in-ground seasonal pool, children's play ground, and additional outdoor activities to be enjoyed by all ages. We're even pet friendly!

Come discover our beautiful hideaway on the edge of Pomme de Terre Lake.

The space
The Cabin accommodations include a full kitchen with plates/pots/pans/silverware , BBQ grill, covered parking, deck and picnic table. We also provide bedding, shower towels and kitchen towels. Please note: pool/lake towels are not provided.

Other things to note
We sell 10lb ice bags and additional basic pantry items upon request at our office. Full list of items can be found inside cabin.

Great Holiday Location

Stayed here with our two dogs. The cabin was the perfect size for us It was perfect location to the boat ramp and availability to the boat slip. Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to get questions answered.

Cleanliness was a major issue.

-First impression was ok. However, the floor was absolutely filthy. Our socks/feet were black after 5 minutes and my toddler's hands, legs, and feet were black. I asked for a wet mop which the property manager had to go buy. I swiffered the floor with the two pads provided and had to go purchase more. After wet mopping the floor 6 times, I had most of it clean. -The bedding had not been changed. My son slept on top of the cover after folding the sheets back and finding an excessive amount of hair and dirty sheets. -In the shower, you could see dried soap bubbles on the wall. It had not been wiped down. -We ended up checking out and going home a day early.
