Escape to the ocean, bask in the sun and leave your cares behind. A queen bed and brand new queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress provide sleeping for up to 4 people. Prep your meals in the microwave and store your snacks and drinks in the tall fridge with freezer. Brew your morning coffee (ground or Kcups) in the standard or Keurig coffee makers. Jam out to tunes while you shower with our bluetooth enabled bathroom speaker. Enjoy views of the intercoastal waterway, ocean and sunset from our top floor deck. Chill to the sounds of the summer concert series across the street on the sun deck or BBQ area. Relax by the pool after a busy day at the beach and explore the downtown area - beach, pier, park, restaurants, ice cream and shops all within walking distance. Enjoy the large flat screen smart tv during your down time and stream a movie or catch up on your favorite shows. Free ice maker and pay soda machine available on the 1st floor. Enjoy the touchless bathroom sink that keeps hand germs down - it runs automatically after each flush for 20 seconds. Basic kitchen supplies provided including plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, knives, dish scrubber & soap, hand soap and dish drying rack. Kitchen supplies include sugar, creamer, coffee, salt and pepper.

To set up the sofa bed, simply reach to the back center of the couch for a handle and pull towards yourself (leaving all cushions in place). The bed should roll straight out and cushions will be kept securely in place underneath.
*Please do not attempt to move the couch by lifting it by the arms as they will come off - it's designed that way ;)

This unit is at a revamped old motel. At first glance, the facility seems outdated and unimpressive but the room was updated, efficient, clean and well lit. TV worked well, plenty of hot water and a sliver of a view of the ocean out the window. We were there in January and no one else was at the facility at all. The location was convenient to everything in Ocean Isle. Host was promptly and accurately communicative.

Why they chose this property

I am continuously updating the property to make it more accommodating for my guests. The unit was completely renovated in May 2021 and a new A/C/heating unit along with new blackout curtains were installed in Spring 2022. A new sofa sleeper was added in March 2023!

What makes this property unique

There is a peek-a-boo view of the ocean out our front window and you can enjoy the sunrise coming up over the Ocean Isle water tower and the sunset going down over Jinks Creek off our top deck. Also - you are steps away from the town park where free concerts are held Friday nights throughout the summer - walk over with your beach chair and cooler or simply enjoy the music straight from our sun deck. (no need to fight the traffic and parking - once you're here, just relax and enjoy :)

P.S. - the town park is getting expanded in 2023 to include more grass space, tennis/pickleball and basketball courts and parking!!
