PERFECT LOCATION! We are an easy 2 mile golf cart ride North of San Pedro. Our resort, Sunset Caribe, is located nicely between the fun of downtown San Pedro and the beach vibes and luxury of Northern Ambergris Caye.

We were a group of 6 friends from Wisconsin and loved our stay at your property. Not only was it beautiful, but the staff at Sunset Caribe was amazing. The condo was great! The service was great! The wait staff at the pool was outstanding! Our family really enjoyed the amenities of the resort. Our family of five stayed here for 3 nights in January 2024 and had a wonderful time. The space is large, clean and comfortable. The beds are great and we enjoyed the large living room to play games and watch sports on the TV. The pool and a jacuzzi are easily accessible downstairs. The staff at Sunset Caribe is terrific and very helpful. We loved being on the north side of San Pedro with access to some great restaurants and being closer to Sunset Beach while still getting into San Pedro very easily.

We just returned from a weeklong stay at this condo and can’t say enough good things about the property. It’s new, with amazing pools, and very clean, spacious decor. The people that work at the facility were absolutely wonderful, as Rick and Heather, the owners. We had an issue with missing a flight, and they were more than accommodating! We all agreed that being just north of the city center was the best location. And our friends and us had a wonderful time. This was our 4th time in Belize and we will definitely come back and stay at this property.

Beautiful Amgergris Caye

Sunset Caribe is a beautiful condo. Brand new and in a perfect location. Access to amenities at Grand Caribe provides the best both complexes have to offer. It is important to note that Sunset Caribe is still under construction, so there is a lot of noise during the day… be prepared for construction from about 7a to 6p. We spent the majority of our pool time during the day at Grand Caribe, and Sunset Caribe in the evenings. We enjoyed fishing, snorkeling, and exploring San Pedro. This was our 3rd time in Belize (2nd to Ambergris Caye)… it will definitely not be our last! We love this beautiful, welcoming country.

No reservation after booking 3 months ahead and paying over 5000 for the week

Our arrival was a horrible experience The resort claimed they didn't have my reservation from VRBO and that the unit I booked had someone already in it. They contacted the owners of the unit who claimed they disnt know what was going on. After much back and forth and waiting, the resort was able to accommodate us in another unit. My advise is never to book with VRBO as they were zero help when I contacted their customer service and just kept referring me back to the owners who had no idea what was going on. If you want to stay at this resort, I would book directly and not use VRBO as they take a large fee and offer you no help when there are issues with the booking.

Perfect location in brand new luxury property

Our family group of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this brand new unit in a brand new building. Everything is immaculate! The kitchen had all the cookware/appliances we needed, the pool was beautiful, the pool bar friendly and convenient, the staff attentive. Our grown sons appreciated the good Wifi, ability to use our Netflix on the TVs, and new model orange golfcarts (rented through the property). We used the (free) kayaks and loved the gorgeous view from the balcony. We also spent some time across the street at the beautiful sister resort in the pool and restaurants. What was really perfect was the distance to town. I would not want to be further away - we zipped back and forth to town easily (2 miles) on our golf carts, sometimes 3 times/day. It was nice to be away in our beautiful setting and nice to be able to get to everything in town so easily. Thank you to the owners for great suggestions on restaurants and bars nearby. Truck Stop, Pur, Crocs, Carumbas, Food Tour, and Scuba School Dive Shop are our recommendations. We did not have access to a washer and dryer - we were told we could schedule to be in the unit some time before 3 for the staff to come do a load - but that we had to be present while it happened - so either plan this into your vacation day or don't plan to do any laundry at all. New condo suggestions: Balcony only seats 4 people - needs at least 2 more chairs. Bedrooms do not have dressers for clothing - we all had our suitcases on the floor. Bathroom sinks could use either a soap dish or soap pump - no where to put the wet soap by the sink. Overall we know you will absolutely love this condo and it is the prefect location for enjoying all that Ambergris Caye has to offer.

Perfect for our family

This condo was great for our 2 adults and four teenagers. The resort was very quiet and you have access to the Grand Caribe pool and restaurants. It’s on the north part of the island and lagoon side so you don’t get the smelly seaweed. The condo was exactly as listed…the only obstacles were there isn’t much storage for clothing (four small cubbies in the master) and the kitchen isn’t well appointed should you want to cook (no measuring cups or baking dishes and only a few pans). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and pretty. The view of the sunset was amazing. The location is great…the truck stop is a short 1 min golf cart ride. It’s pricier than most places but the vibe is cool. There are several grocery stores very close. Thank you for a great stay! We’d stay here again when we come back.
