It was very nice day, everything was very close to any of the stores like 10-20mins trip (Walmart, Ross, Burlington, txmaxx etc). The neighborhood was very safe and nice too. We really enjoyed
Apartment was very nice! Clean. Large rooms with big comfy beds. There is an upstairs and you can hear movement. Good to know if u r a light sleeper. Otherwise we were very pleased
We enjoyed our stay at this place. We walked to the Natural History museum, the zoo, and the Children's Museum, as well as several restaurants around the area. It was a comfortable stay!
We loved staying at this two bedroom town home in Houston. The property is very quiet, comfortable and clean. Great communication from the property manager! Also, it is very well stocked with necessities and located in central Houston
Everything was as listed. No issues gaining access. Property was located near the convention center as needed with easy and quick access to the freeway. We will definitely attempt to reserve this location the next time we are in town. Thanks.

Convenient
The only thing that bothered us was the lack of utensils and china including coffee cups. We had to do dishes every day
Overall, it was a nice place. Nice and clean, good size space. The issues we had were - the living room couch is just a very uncomfortable and broken futon. The tv kept freezing up - guessing the internet isn't fast enough for streaming. Could use a few more kitchen utensils. I don't need a covered cake plate but I could use something to stir my eggs. Very low water pressure everywhere. The 1 am wake up call on Sunday morning was not appreciated. The hardwood floors upstairs highlight the heels being worn.
The unit is a downstairs unit of a duplex in an older building. We had a problem with the noise from upstairs. The footsteps of people walking around upstairs were generally very loud, whether it was children running around in the evening or people arriving back from a night out at 2:30 am or 4:30 am. With only a few exceptions, there wasn't loud partying, talking or music, just the noise of people walking loud enough to disturb our TV watching or sleep.
There are several bars and restaurants on the next block to the east. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there was a lot of traffic and foot traffic from customers looking for parking and walking to the party area.
The living room sofa/futon was uncomfortable enough to cause backaches.
On the plus side, the host was very quick to respond to communications.
Great location all around:
1) Walking distance to MoFAH
2) Walking distance to NMNS
3) Walking distance to CMH
4) Short driving distance to golf courses
5) One-hour drive to Galveston
6) Short driving distance to seafood restaurants
The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The gated parking kept our car safe. The owner, Max, was a terrific host!! We'll come back!
We had the perfect weather to walk to the Museum District and Zoo! Lots of great (and local) restaurants nearby. If we had to drive anywhere, it didn't take long at all. The house was clean and we had lots of space for four people! Only recommendations: Measuring cups/spoons and reverse the fridge door in the kitchen (it was really awkward to open); more storage/places to put things in the bedrooms and a mirror outside the master bathroom area. We think this is a newer rental so I hope the suggestions are A-Ok!
This beautifully renovated iconic property is perfectly situated for peeps who come to Houston to see the plethora of world class museums. My only gripe is that there was no live TV (only Netflix) to watch the Olympic Games. A real bummer. I would return to this property. But NOT during the Olympics.
My name is Massimo, but you can call me Max (yes, it works also in Italian). I was born and raised in Italy and at a certain point I have decided to put down roots in the “Land of the Free”. In particular, I am fascinated by Houston because of its multiculturalism, diversity, creativity and because I see this city as a constant gate: to South America, to the Far West, to the Outer Space, ....
I started using AirBnB out of curiosity and, eventually, I found out that I am driven by a genuine sense of hospitality. I find it natural to take care of my guests and their needs. I enjoy making your stay as pleasant as possible. I like checking in regularly in case you need anything and I feel responsible for you to be completely satisfied with your experience.
I love exchanging point of views and information but at the same time I’m considerate of your privacy so I set up my listings in a way that my guests are totally independent from check-in to check-out.
I appreciate receiving recommendations on how to improve and make unique the AirBnB experience, for the current and the future guests. I feel like your feedback can make these homes unique, comfortable and warm.
All my listings are gay friendly and open to love of all kinds. Also, they are open to guests of any religion, belief and origin.
Last but not least, I am a rugby fanatic and we are always looking for people interested to play a bit ‘touch” on Sunday afternoon.
My goal is to provide you a place that welcomes you back every time you need a home during your visit to Houston. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
