Feel right at home at Beach Getaway, a fabulous four-bedroom, three-bathroom, single-family home (with den) which shows pride of ownership and is located between 86th St. and 87th St. in Ocean City. This exquisite escapade is perfect for a family or two and has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The kitchen is open and well-equipped, including stainless steel appliances and a custom-made center island. Guests can kick back and enjoy the backyard, which is fenced-in and includes a nice deck, plenty of patio furniture, and a new private outdoor shower. Grill in the backyard or visit the many local favorite restaurants that are within walking distance from the home including Lombardi's Pizza, Bull on the Beach, Ropewalk, and Liquid Assets, among others. A great place for the whole family. The home sits on Coastal Highway with a parking pad for four cars. This lovely home is just a short walk to the beach (one and a half blocks).

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Home was ok

The home was ok. Some of the beds were not comfortable. The kitchen lacked equipment for cooking. The grill was very dirty. Location was great.

Location, location, location!

We loved our stay at the house - plenty of space for 9 us to spread out. You could tell the backyard was recently updated, and it looks lovely. Quick walk to the beach and very central to many restaurants and activities. Parking area was great and easily fit 3 vehicles. Only downside was we picked the house due to beds that were in the listing, which included 2 twins in one room (which would have given everyone their own bed) but unfortunately those were swapped to a double and the listing wasn’t updated until a couple days before our arrival. Would absolutely recommend!

Needs a good cleaning.

Our recent stay at OCMD was mix of good and bad experience. The good – Onsite parking and the beach across the street was clean and not crowded. Washer/Dryer on the first floor. Upon checking at the Vacasa office, we were given a small amenities bag that included 3 tolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, and small soaps/shampoo as a starter kit. The bad – When we arrived, we saw the cleaners wrapping up their cleaning. Once we stepped inside, we noticed the countertops, parts of the hardwood floors, and the sinks were still dirty. Crumbs were still on the countertops. Facial hair in the bathroom sinks. We also came across animal stool in the corner of the dining room. We contacted the management company immediately and it took them more than 24 hours and 2 addtl calls for clean up of the feces off the floor. Also, the smaller bedroom had a broken mattress, so our guests didn’t sleep on it. There's dust everywhere and trash/belongings from previous guests were left behind. I personally wouldn’t be returning or recommend anyone stay at this location until they can deep clean the place. The house itself is in a great location and has a lot of potential, but cleaning is needed.

Great beach rental for large family w/dog

This house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Have to be careful of the little sticker things in the backyard is only downside. We loved this house and plan to return next summer!
