Lovely rural holiday home

We spent a lovely 10 nights in Yvon's holiday home. Set on what was once a farm, the property was very peaceful on the edge of the village. Yvon greeted is upon our arrival and showed us around the property as he lives in the main farm house across the court yard. He was always on hand if we needed anything (usually in his veg garden as he said its his hobby). The property itself was as expected for the price, had everything you needed and it all worked. The upstairs floors were a bit creeky, being wooden but this never bothered us. Upstairs there are 2 good sized double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a shower room with large shower, toilet and modern basin. The second shower room downstairs was handy as being an early riser, i could go downstairs, put on a pot of coffee and take a shower without disturbing whoever was still asleep. The small garden with decking would have been lovely to sit out in had the weather been better and there is plenty of safe space for children to play, as well as a table tennis table to use, again had the weather been better. Well equipped kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven for home cooking and dishwasher to clean up after. Plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The location is perfect for plenty of places to visit, whether its the D-day landing beaches and museums, Bayeux tapestry or visiting chateau's, of which we done at least 4 plus a trip to the zoo, we never had time to get bored. Would definitely turn. Clean and comfortably.

Allez-y !!Accueil très amical et chaleureux d'Yvon, que nous tenons à remercier.Le logement est situé sur deux étages, dans un ancien corps de ferme remarquablement réaménagé et très bien équipé (pour ceux pour qui ça compte : l'escalier est assez raide).Avec ses grands volumes, le lieu a été parfait pour notre famille de 5 et nous avons pu rayonner pour découvrir le patrimoine très riche de la région.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ici avec nos filles de 6 et 9 ans! C'est une belle ferme du XVIIe siècle avec une jolie cour où les filles pouvaient jouer, ainsi qu'un jardin privé à l'arrière du gîte. Ce gîte est très confortable et entièrement équipé. Son emplacement est idéal pour explorer la Suisse Normande. Yvon est un hôte très sympathique et accueillant. Je le recommande vivement !

Mooi verblijf en rustige omgeving

Het is het enige gastenverblijf op de boerderij van de eigenaar. Het verblijf is ruim en leuk ingericht en geeft veel privégelegenheid. Het contact met de enthousiaste eigenaar verliep prima. No nonsense! Het huisje is prachtig verbouwd en is voorzien van alle gemakken. De vierpits kookgelegenheid doet het prima voor de eenvoudige maaltijden die ik bereidde. Het zou handig zijn als er wat meer pannen waren met deksel die er op passen (rijst afgieten was een uitdaging… maar lukte uiteindelijk wel). We hebben het er erg naar onze zin gehad, en komen er zeker nog een keer terug!
