Everything was excellent! My whole family enjoyed themselves. The space and amenities were perfect. They offered something for everyone. The backyard was spacious and offered different areas for everyone to relax. The movie room was perfect for us to watch our traditional Christmas movies as well as give the younger family members a place to hang out together. The kitchen was so perfectly purported for all of us to eat together and cook together. I can't say enough about this home only that we will definitely be coming back. Also, the host was very accessible for any question. There was an item missing for one of the televisions and she shipped it overnight and had someone install it the very next day. Excellent on all counts!

Beautiful vacation home!

We loved our stay here! The moment you walk in = beautiful and relaxing. The house was so clean and stocked with everything and anything we’d need! The theatre room was amazing and it was even stocked with popcorn butter! My group and I definitely give this a five star home and service. Margarita was only a text away if we needed any assistance too.

Our family came to So. Cal for a brief stay. We wanted to visit our daughter who’s attending a local college near by and celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family. When we first arrived, which was later than expected but the hosts’ check instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The house was absolutely gorgeous! It was the attention to detail that got me. Our daughters loved the movie room and spent most nights in there. Paradise staycation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful getaway this summer at the Myoka House in Northridge, CA. It was the perfect setting to entertain and relax with loved one. Our three children had fun exploring the property, watching movies in the theater room and lounging in the oversized master king bed. The grandparents had privacy in a downstairs bedroom but also plenty of room to socialize in the open family room and kitchen area. The best part of our stay was enjoying the backyard amenities including the perfectly designed pool and pergola area. The host, Margarita, was very accommodating and helped to create the resort style setting including a welcome package and easy-to-use amenities. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Myoka “Mansion” (as my boys call it).

Graduation dinner

We rented home for a small graduation party. The home was beautiful. The home was well cared for, clean and gave plenty of space. The only issue was that the house did not have glasses, dishes or silverware to accommodate the number of persons the house sleeps. There are plenty of serving dishes but we had to go to the store and get paper plates and cups which was disappointing when hosting a dinner to serve on paper plates, plastic utensils and paper cups.

Spacious house but ...

On the positive side, we found Myoka house truly spacious and in a great neighborhood, with a wonderful outside space. But we think that the maintenance of the house could be better (freezer was not freezing, one the kitchen sink was clogged, the video projector stops every 10 minutes, there were ants coming in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom, furniture is aging and stained, dishes were insufficient for 8 people - only 8 knives, 5 wine glasses, no pan suitable for 8 people, very noisy A/C ...). All in all, a bit expensive for the actual quality.

I am sorry that you feel this way but also a bit shocked since you only brought to our attention the ants and the freezer. We would have appreciated you bringing these other concerns to us while you were there, as that is the the best and fastest way to get these issues resolved especially since it would be helpful to incoming guests like you yourselves were. We had the freezer back up and running the same day you reported it. We explained that the ant problem occurs in most LA homes when we have occasional excessive heat. We would have sent out an exterminator if we felt it was necessary but you told us you got rid of them very easily. With regard to the other issues, had we known pots and pans and other kitchen wares were missing we would have rectified that situation immediately. Sometimes guests will inadvertently discard items so we are aware that at times certain items will need to be replaced but again it us always helpful if we are told right away rather than learn about it in a review that sometimes come a week after a guest has checked out. No one lives at the property so it’s for that reason we ask our outgoing guests to give us suggestions on how we can improve our service. We make a concerted effort to make our guest comfortable and we certainly never want them to be inconvenienced in any way. We are shocked and disappointed you shared such a poor review since this is a far cry from the great reviews we generally get, as can be seen on all platforms.

This house is a dream!! The host was so nice and also the house is wayyy bigger than you can imagine! The outdoor space is literally another house with pool and amazing sitting spaces! Resort like home

This is a beautiful well kept home with all the amenities of a private resort. Space for everyone to spread out. Outdoor dining. Beautiful pool. Basketball for kids. Movie theatre for all. We took advantage of it all. About 30 minutes to an hour to tourist attractions including Disney. Shopping less than 2 miles away. Quiet neighborhood where you don’t see neighbors from the backyard. So private.

Place of comfort

Wonderful Family Vacation

We just completed a one week stay at this property with ten family members. We all had a fabulous time. The backyard area is amazing. The yard gets some late afternoon shade which is nice. There is an abundance of outdoor seating including table space for dining. The kitchen is very well stocked. By taking a few chairs from the dining room we were able to seat all of us in the kitchen using some of the counter seating. It was necessary to contact Margarita to turn the spa on and off. It was not really an issue as she is extremely responsive, we never waited more than a few minutes for the Spa. Margarita is the most responsive agent we have worked with in about 30 VRBO rentals. There were a few issues. The tubs and showers are all very slick. They should have strips, hand rails or something to prevent falls. The internet was fine most of the time but occasionally intermittent. We highly recommend this home for relaxing vacations.

Margarita was an excellent host! From booking to staying. The house is amazing and you would never want to leave. Everything was clean and stocked.
