The apartment in a magnificent Wilhelminian style building was extensively renovated and furnished as a holiday apartment. It is located on the ground floor of a quiet and absolutely central alleyway and is fully equipped.
In the kitchen area is a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob with extractor, sink, dishwasher, pots and a pan, cutlery, crockery, kettle, Senseo pad machines etc ..
The cozy living room has a large dresser, coffee table, a couch and a LCD TV.
The sleeping area in the gallery is located to the quiet courtyard.
In the bathroom is a spacious shower, sink, toilet. Towels and bed linen available. incl. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS.
The accommodation is new and tastefully decorated. Modern new old belly arms with plank floor, stucco elements and ceiling height about 3.8 meters, walls brightly painted with natural clay colors ........

A very nice week

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very pleasant, with many restaurants. It's also well served by bus and U-Bahn.

Awesome location. Parking was 76euro for 3 days at the parkhaus. The stairs/ladder are a bit steep to the bed. If if have mobility issue you will be sleeping on the sofa. Very clean.

Cozy space for multi-week stay

We enjoyed our stay there. Was convenient to shops/restaurants and public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. Internet was mostly reliable. Would stay there again..

Great place to stay in Köln

This unit was perfect for my stay. It was clean, had all the amenities I needed, and was in a great, safe location. It was quiet since it was in the back of the building, but was within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, and shops. There’s basic cookware and dishware to make a meal if you wanted. It was the perfect place to relax, and to prepare for a long day in town. There's public transportation stops nearby that will get you wherever you need to go. Josef was very kind and a good host. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d love to stay there again someday.

Wir haben das Quartier leicht finden können, auch Parkplatzsuche war erfolgreich. Unsere Golden Retriever Hündin war mit und und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren bequem, Dusche war heiß, Küche/Herd funktionierte gut. Wir brauchten unser Quartier nur für die Nacht und den Morgenkaffee und es war insofern alles bestens. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Le logement est plutôt bien placé, proche du centre en transport en commun, il y a des draps et des serviettes fournies néanmoins l'appartement est imprégné de l'odeur de tabac ce qui n'est vraiment pas appréciable pour des non-fumeurs.

Leider hat sich ein Gast nicht an das Nichtrauchergebot gehalten. Da es einen fliegenden Wechsel war leider keine Zeit um die Gardinen zu waschen.

Fotos sind nicht mehr ganz aktuell, es gibt einen größeren Schrank statt der Kommodo. Innenhof leider nicht nutzbar, er wird als Fahrradabstellplatz für die Hausbewohner und für Mülltonnen genutzt. Der Auf- und Abstief über die Leiter zum Schlafplatz auf der Empore ist möglicherweise nichts für jeden. Internet war bei meinem Besuch leider kaum nutzbar.Insgesamt aber gut ausgestattet, gute Lage und für einen Kurztrip mit 1-2 Personen super. Fussläufig ist der ÖPNV, viele Restaurants und ein Rewe sehr gut zu erreichen.

Danke für den Hinweis wegen dem Internet, wenn man nichts gesagt bekommt kann man nicht reagieren. Das Problem wird schnellstens behoben. Der Innenhof ist nicht zu verweilen aber für Raucher eine Zigarette zu rauchen sollte es genügen. Die Fotos werde ich auch bald mal wieder auf den neueren Stand bringen. Vielen Dank für die Anregungen, ich bin stehts bemüht den Wünschen der Gäste gerecht zu werden.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super. Mitten in der Südstadt. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat uns für 15,- p.T. eine Garage zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Wohnung hat leider muffig gerochen und der angegebene Innenhof war mit Mülltonnen und Fahrrädern vollgestellt und somit nicht nutzbar. Schade!

Ich war für einige Zeit im Urlaub und konnte sie deshalb leider zu selten lüften. Und die Hitze in Köln tat ihr Übriges dazu. Ja, die leidigen Mülltonnen und Fahrräder ... ich werde mir hierfür eine Lösung einfallen lassen, damit man sie weniger sieht. Die Anreise war gut & mit dem Uber ist man schnell vom Bahnhof bei der Unterkunft. Schöne Gegend mit vielen Lokalen um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten an jeder Ecke. Alles im Allem ganz okay.

Der Vermieter war nett und zuvorkommend, die Kommunikation verlief einwandfrei. Jedoch ist die Wohnung in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Es stinkt Extrem nach nassem Keller, was auch gleich in die Kleidung zieht, es war nur noch ein Fitzelchen Toilettenpapier vorhanden, Reserverolle Fehlanzeige, alles war irgendwie schmuddelig, Badezimmer, Küche, Spühlmaschine roch auch sehr unangenehm. Es scheint wohl üblich in Köln oder Großstädten allgemein solche "Ferienwohnungen" anzubieten. Ist nicht die erste Erfahrung hier. Ich finds schade ! Nie wieder hier.

Leider war ich nicht in Köln zu der Zeit bzw hatte ich keine Kontrolle durchgeführt. Wenn es einen "fliegenden" Wechel gibt und die Gäste davor nicht ausreichend gelüftet haben ist schon mal zu e´wenig Zeit zum durchlüften, Spülmaschine mit Reinigungsmitteln laufen lassen etc. pp. Die Probleme sind behoben, die Gerüche weg. wie man an der Mehrzahl der Bewertungen sehen kann ist diese schlecht Bewertung maßlos übertrieben.

Falsche Wohnung, nicht so ruhig, sonst top

Der Aufenthalt in Köln war super. Die Lage beider Wohnungen von Josef sind super. Leider war die kleinere, ruhigere Wohnung, die wir gebucht hatten, schon belegt, als wir ankamen. Die Mieterin meint, sie sei jedes Jahr da. Ob nun doppelt belegt oder ob die Mieterin nur die falsche Wohnung hatte, weiß ich nicht. Wir haben dann die wesentlich größere Wohnung bekommen, jedoch lag die leider direkt an der Straße. Insgesamt aber ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir konnten sogar noch eine Garage nutzen.
