The tram (about 2 minutes walk) takes you in about 10-15 to Cologne Cathedral, in the old town and in the center of Cologne. The Beethovenpark, Klettenbergpark and Decksteiner Weiher invite you to take a walk, relax and have a barbecue.
In winter (snow provided) you can also Schllitten drive. Major events in the Lanxes Arena can also be easily and quickly reached without a car. The direct motorway A4 (about 1 KM) allows trips to the surrounding area, such as. For example, the Phantasialand in Brühl.


Getting there: From the airport you can reach the apartment by public transport, a taxi ride to the apartment costs about 25 €. By car you reach the apartment via the A4 motorway, exit Klettenberg, from there it is still about 1 kilometer.

Comfortable in Cologne
Great location in an upmarket neighbourhood with good access to groceries, restaurants and laundry and transport by tram to the downtown core. Travellers always appreciate such a location. Delightful Bäckerai just at the corner. Large kitchen/sitting area and equally large bedroom with comfortable beds. Access to large outside sitting area from the bedroom. Very clean throughout and we found it to be comfortable and quiet.

Loving Koln
The apartment was just as pictured in the ad. It was very clean and even smelled clean, and not perfumed bad oders. The kitchen was quite nice with even a dish washer and several nice utencils, flatware, plates and glasses. Possibly the only thing I missed was not having a microwave. The bathroom was very clean and with great hot water available. If the weather had been nicer, we could have used the nice terrace that was available. The inner courtyard was really nice, with even a few ducks walking around. The local shops and restuarants were very good. Public transportation (metro or subway train) is right at your door step and also another line one block away. The lovely thing about Koln is that there is public transportation 24 hours per day!!! The owner, Rainer was very punctional and helpful with sharing information on transport and dining. I would like to visit once again, except this time choosing a better season and with no work involved as in this visit!
