Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Our rental started poorly...the host did not provide a code for the keybox prior to our arrival. As requested, we texted her an hour before our arrival but when we did arrive, she was no where to be found. It was 40 degrees and we had small children with us on a hot, unshaded street. Fortunately, a neighbour saw us and contacted the host's spouse who provided a code.After this delay, we entered the property to find it was not as the pictures depicted. The outside area patio was covered in a wrinkled, outdoor, simulated green grass carpet. There was a small swimming pool for the children and a cracked, plastic slide which was unusable. The umbrella covering the patio set was broken.Inside, the kitchen was tired and poorly equipped. One burner on the stove did not work. Out of three utility knives, two were broken.The bathroom downstairs had wallpaper taped to the wall in the toilet area. Neither bathroom allowed you to stand up for a shower.The living room couch had an ill-fitting "leather" cover that was constantly coming off. The fireplace brick was broken and definitely not safe with small children around.Creepily, there were picture frames on the walls throughout with no pictures inside.The children's bed - so cute in the pictures, was broken, which made it hazardous to use.The doors did not close properly and half of the electrical plugs had no power.Note there is no washer. Linens were extra.Unfortunately for us, this rental did not have the charm advertised...
