Family Celebration

We had a lovely time celebrating here in Guadeloupe. We came from all over the US and UK to spend time together at Les Voiles Bleues. The villas are beautiful and had plenty of space to accommodate 17 of us. We were able to gather for meals by the pool with amazing views across the town to the ocean. Mathilde is a great host and responded quickly to anything we needed. She was able to arrange catered meals on two of our nights. The rest of the time we chose to cook for ourselves. She was also very patient with our very basic French. We did hire cars to explore the island. This was especially useful as although the town and beach are within a kilometer or two, there is no sidewalk on the road at the bottom of the hill.
