Seashell Cottages/JK Rentals - Cottage 2, 1 full bed

We are Seashell Cottages located just 5 minutes to the Pier, ocean, several shops, restaurants, the arcade and amusement park. We are nestled back to provide you with true relaxation when you are on the premises. This unit is an open concept studio with a kitchenette. has a full size refrigerator, sink, hot plate to cook, with dishes and pots and pans for eating at home! We have 3 shared gas grills on the property as well. All units have a screened porch with chairs to relax on. We have an above ground pool, and gazebos to eat family dinners in! We also have a firepit if you want to build a fire and cook marshmallows! The walk to the pier and beach is about 3-5 minutes. That is where you will find all the action, late night bars, shops, restaurants, candy stores, ice cream, fried dough, arcade and rides! Everything to have a great stay without having to drive to get to anything.

We are also a 10 minute walk from the train station if you wanted to venture to Boston!

We are located close to the turnpike if you want to take day trips to Portland, Kittery Outlets, LL Bean, and much more!

Reminder- No pets, no smoking. 5 Minute walk to the beach. Beach towels are not provided!

Love this little cottage. Quiet but close enough to all the activities. We spent our days at the beach, strolling through the shops and back to Seashell Cottages for a swim in the pool and dinner. The cottage and property had everythig you would need to make dinner, breakfast or lunch. Will stay again.

Great stay !

The cabins are clean and in a great location close to the beach, coffee shops, grocery store, and down town OOB. Owners are friendly, and easy to talk to. I will be recommending Seashell Cottages/JK Rentals.

Great little cottage

Although we had a bucket load of rain over our 4 day stay the cottage made it great. Loved the little screened in porch. Karen amd Janet the proprietors are friendly amd extremely helpful!

Sea Shell Cottages

The cottage was absolutely fantastic, clean, cheerful and loaded with everything you could need. If it wasn't there you could get it from the great owners. Janet and Karen are both very nice personable and helpful ladies.They are our new wonderful friends! The pool is gorgeous and located very near the cottages! Plenty of relaxing spaces with firepits and comfy chairs!!!!!

Cute cottage close to everything

The cottage was very clean. It was small but I didn’t have a problem with that, it was fine for my husband and myself. The owners were very friendly, they greeted us on arrival. The check in process was so simple. She had it open for when we arrived, all we had to do was unload the car. The best part is that it so close to the beach, shopping, restaurants , the pier, and arcade and rides. It was all within walking distance. They did have a pool which is nice, but we did not end up using it. I would definitely stay here again.

An experience

This is a difficult review. I thought the hosts were very nice. But it very much felt like I was visiting an aunts house who didnt really want me to sleep over. Though the hosts were nice, they were incredibly invasive. Sometimes bringing their new puppy over to potty in the grass area next to the table that we were eating at. They struggle with large group accommodation. Especially when they have booked 2 large groups at once. There is no office, so check in was odd. Getting toilet paper was difficult for many of us in our large group. I think if you are someone who is lonely and wants constant visitation with the hosts, its a nice place to stay. If you are someone who would like to have a little privacy and not have a host on top of you (literally, constantly outside in your rented space), this is not the place for you.

We were surprised to receive a negative review and we take customer complaints very seriously. As our office is located on the property and it is also where we dwell, we are present on the property. We are busy with upkeep of the property-lawns, flowers, cleaning, laundry, pool care etc and are out and about. We are available to our guests as needed and supply them with all requests promptly . To imply that this place is only good for lonely people is inappropriate . We have been welcoming large groups of families and friends for 5 seasons here(20 years total with other properties). We have no difficulties handling large groups or our studio cottage that sleeps 2. We are sorry you felt invaded. There was no indication during your stay that you felt any negative feeling. We hope for a better fit for you at another property in the future.

Mother Daughter Getaway

We shared a small cottage which had everything we needed, small kitchen wares, even coffee was provided! The outside was also very nice, to sit quietly on the porch as she slept in, was nice. I tried the pool, it was probably the same temperature as the ocean, but it was also nice just to sit on the deck.

Summer better than others

I had a wonderful few days stay with these gals… my daughter and grads stayed around the corner & were welcomed to join me for swimming in the pool & hanging out at the fire pit for s’mores… Lisa & the kids are planning on staying here next summer! Beautifully peaceful place!

The place was very well kept, and all staff was very friendly. The bed was really uncomfortable so we didn't sleep well. You couldn't see the TV when laying in bed and I'm not sure if we didn't really know how to use it but we couldn't get any news channels.
