I had a great stay! The property was beautiful and very clean, just as described. It's located on a very busy street, so there was some noise at night, but it wasn't a major issue. Maggie was fantastic-easy to communicate with and very responsive. Overall, a great experience!
Our stay was wonderful. Maggie was absolutely great. The home was gorgeous and had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. We came for a family wedding and would recommend this home.

We are so happy you enjoyed the home and the Fort Pierce Area. Thank you and your family for taking such great care of it. We really appreciate guests like you. Happy New Year!
This house was so cute, lots of vintage decor was a nice touch. We enjoyed the spaciousness. Location to beach and downtown was great. Host responded to our every need immediately. Would rent again.
The hosts were amazing! The house was charming and it is close to great dining and water.
We were not real fans of the area, a little noisy/busy but it could be just what others are looking for.

Thank you for the great review and for taking such great care of our home. We didn’t realize you had a noise issue during your stay. We are so sorry about this. This area is pretty quiet most of the time. I know Fort Pierce had their annual cracker fest parade during your stay. This attracts more guests than usual in the downtown area which is only a few minutes away. I wonder if that was the noise. We do however keep white noise machines in all the bedrooms for light sleepers. I can’t sleep without it. Again we are so sorry about this. Thank you again for being AWESOME guests. We hope to host you again. You take care.
We enjoyed the home, we had plenty of space for our family if 6. We competed about 25 minutes away, not a bad drive. The beach was close too. The home is right off the main road so it was quick access.

Disliked: Location
Very quaint, but an older building that could use some updating in a few places.
Nice, but still needs some updating and small improvements. Th back yard is awfully rough. 33rd Street is kind of noisy and a lot of traffic. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

We are truly disappointed by this review, especially given how much you and your guests raved about our home throughout your stay. When we met in person at checkout, you repeatedly said the house was “awesome” and even offered to barter free services for all of our properties next year in exchange for a free stay. We declined, and it’s unfortunate that your review does not reflect the enthusiasm you shared with us directly.
Our vacation home is a well-maintained historic property, and while we continuously invest in thoughtful updates, we also work hard to preserve its unique character. As for the backyard, we take great care of our outdoor space, but given that its fall, naturally fallen leaves are beyond our control. The home is also located in a vibrant area, many guests appreciate the convenient access to local attractions.
Additionally, we accommodated your request for an extended checkout, granting you extra time beyond what was originally allowed. Despite this, you and your guests still took an additional hour, requiring both my cleaning team and me to wait patiently for your departure.
We always welcome constructive feedback, but given the conversations we had in person, we find this review to be disappointing and misleading. Nevertheless, we appreciate your stay and wish you well.
Beautiful, spacious place. Private, yet easy driving distance to everything in Fort Pierce.
Maggie and Tony are the most gracious hosts. Excellent, quick response to our questions and needs. Also, kept us in the know when routine service teams were coming to the property.
Would highly recommend this home 😁

Thank you Rosemary. You were all an excellent bunch to host! We hope you stay with us again. Take care.
Maggie was an awesome host! Very responsive and helpful. The house is very nice, lots of great historical aspects and artifacts. The house is on a busy street and unfortunately there were roosters in the neighborhood, but if the a/c is on, it is not an issue. You will feel totally at home, thx to all the amenities and just a short drive to everything!!

Thank you Tina. You guys were also great to host! Best regards, Maggie &Tony
House was plenty big enough inside and out for the 6 people saying there. House was clean and had everything needed to cook with. Outside areas were comfortable and cute. The fenced in years was nice for our fur baby. Hosts were quick to respond when we reached out. Beds were comfortable. My only negative about this house are the neighborhood roosters. There are many in the neighborhood behind the house. It just made for early mornings. Over all, a nice stay.
Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay! First, and most important, the hosts truly cared for us like family. Maggie’s communication was fabulous. You can just tell how much she really cares for her guests and their comfort. Just genuine good old fashioned hospitality.
We especially loved the outdoor area. It was peaceful, quite and quaint. As frequent travelers this house offered us a unique place that was much different that other rental homes. At every turn there was another reason to smile with all the little design touches.
Yes, it’s a historic house but has all the modern amenities you would want. Great AC, great WiFi, all TVs had Roku remotes, comfortable beds, plenty of filtered water & room to spread out to really feel like home.
I only hope we will be able to come back in the future. Huge thanks to Maggie and Tony!!!!!

What an amazing property: homey and elegant. This is one of the best furnished rentals I’ve ever stayed at. Maggie and Tony went out of their way to be helpful. Good bed, outstanding kitchen, pretty touches. Highly recommend this spot.
Historic home that was thoughtfully staged to re-create the memories of old with the comforts of new. The home is very clean and comfortable. All the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the 'staging' of the old box TV, original gas cook stove, ice box and a record player that works! Interesting and very affordable place to stay. The owners were awesome and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We had a really good time. The space was great. We enjoyed the aesthetics.
The one thing I would suggest is to tell the yard service folks to not do the yard at 7 am on a Saturday or when they see folks are there.
Tucked into a small residential area, the house is a true hidden gem. It was recognized as being historically significant and has been beautifully restored. The porch is sheltered by plants and provides a lovely setting to sit and read or converse. The large open kitchen could host a meal for 8 comfortably. We marveled at the stained glass and antiques. It is an older house, so guests should be prepared to traverse stairs with luggage in tow. But, everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable was right at hand. Thank you, Maggie & Tony, for hosting us! And, congratulations on winning the Gold Hammer and Neighborhood Gem Award for your work on the house and its yard. It is a well-deserved honor!
House accommodations were very accurate. My family really enjoyed the porch setting and being outside. House was very clean and equipped with not only dishes and cookware, but coffee, snacks, and laundry supplies, which was a bonus

We are SUPER HOSTS! We love to host and provide great service. We are people pleasers and want our guests to enjoy their stay and the beautiful area.
Why they chose this property
This home was definitely a labor of love. We wanted to maintain the beautiful history of the home but add modern amenities for our guests to enjoy.
What makes this property unique
The massive wrap-around porch and extended driveway are one of our favorite features of this home. We did our best to give each room its own unique vibe for style & comfort. Every item was hand-picked to bring, nostalgia, some humor, and delight. Enjoy making meals in our fully renovated kitchen.
