About this property

A Belgrade Lakes Destination, Very Private, Tranquil [Handicap Accessible]

As you enter the private gated entrance to The Pond House and descend through our fields, you will be in awe at the most picturesque vista in the Belgrade Lakes area. Positioned on several hundred private acres, the Pond House was built in 2020. It sits close to the waters edge and provides easy boating access to Long Pond and Belgrade Lakes Village. The house is handicap accessible, tastefully decorated with an open floor concept and sleeps 8. The main house has two queen size bedrooms. The attached annex also has a handicap bathroom and a queen size bed and full size bed.
We offer three kayaks, two canoes and a paddleboat. There is a large dock, swim raft and inner tubes. The large screened porch makes for enjoyable bug free evenings. Outside enjoy sitting around the fire pit, playing a game of corn hole or relaxing in the hammock. There are miles of walking trails that you can access directly from the house. We only accept one week rentals during July and August. IF YOU CARE TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN TOWELS AND SHEETS, PLEASE LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME AND WE WILL DEDUCT $200 FROM YOUR RENTAL FEE.
THE POND HOUSE IS AVAILABLE FOR WINTER RENTALS.

Wonderful property on a quiet pond
This was the second time we stayed at the pond house. This is a new property that is in great shape and especially good for me because it is ADA accessible. We highly recommend it. The owners are very attentive to guests and making sure they have what they need and are comfortable.

Wonderful!!!
Just an amazing spot! From the time you enter the gates, the views are spectacular! On the way to the Pond House, there are apple trees, marked with the variety, for you to pick. The Pond House has everything that you could want or need. The quality of the house is amazing. The dock, the firepit, the views of the wildlife of the pond, all of it, top shelf! Roger greeted us when we arrived, was there whenever we needed anything, and couldn't have been more gracious. We are already planning for when we can come back!

Beautiful Spot for Nature & Water Lovers
We wound up finding Roger & Elaine's Pond House after staying elsewhere in the area the prior summer and wanting to return. My wife and I along with two boys, two dogs, an Auntie and Uncle, had a comfortable stay in the house. You couldn't ask for nicer or more accommodating hosts. Roger stopped by to check in a couple of times, and we enjoyed chatting with him about the area. He had great tips to check out locally. The house was well kept and cozy with a nice open kitchen/living area and great shower pressure. We had plenty of room when it rained too hard to be out on the water. The bedrooms were comfy and we slept well every night. The dock was great for fishing, jumping in for a swim, and taking out a kayak or canoe which were in great shape and there for our use. The kids loved swimming to the floating dock and doing dives and cannonballs. The pond itself is a gem, surrounded by wetland habitat, with plenty of birds and plants to spot. We rented a pontoon for the week, which we could take from the pond through a winding channel around a mile to the south end of Long Lake, and on from there into town for groceries. Make sure you have bug spray, as this is summertime in Maine, but with that taken care of, the area around the pond including a snowmobile trail network was a delight to explore with our dogs. Overall a wonderful week with many great memories. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Great place and stay, even with the rain!
This property is amazing and very private! We’ve rented several lake houses and this one is one of the best! Roger and Elaine have thought about everything to make your stay comfortable. A very well supplied kitchen for cooking/baking/grilling, comfortable beds, ceiling fans in every room, clean house, yard games and boats for the water. Walking trails right off the property were enjoyed by all, especially our dogs! The pond is a bit away from the lake but very accessible and provides peace and quiet except for an occasional fishing boat. Lots to explore with kayaks and canoes. A loon family entertained us all week. Roger was very responsive and helpful, thoroughly enjoys meeting his guests and even asked what they can do to improve the property!! It rained most of our week but we still had a wonderful time and do hope to return. Thank you Roger and Elaine for a fun and memorable family vacation with our adult(and four-legged) children!

We live year round on Ingham Pond and are available to assist in any way that we can.

What makes this property unique

Very private and secluded yet only 20 minutes away from goods and services. Awesome views for picture taking. A kayaker's heaven.
The winter brings on a whole new world with awesome ice fishing for large pike and crappie along with many trails for cross country skiing or hiking right from your door step. Bald eagles are very prevalent, especially during the winter months.
