About this property
Par for the Course Inn
1901 Farm House with Tennessee Charm. We named the house Par for the Course Inn due to its location to the Island Pointe Golf Course. The house once was used as a pro shop before the golf course built a new pro shop further in on their property. The farmhouse sat vacant for almost 5 years and was in ruin when the current owners purchased it in August 2020. This farm house was just restored to its charm over the last 2 years. The house has original flooring and doors. It boasts all new amenities including three bathrooms, five bedrooms, laundry room, spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. The 1st floor bedroom features one king size bed, the 2nd on the 1st floor has a full size bed with a pull out bed. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms have two queen size beds each and third bedroom has two full-size beds. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and jetted tub. The house features a wraparound porch, deck on the back, and two fire pit areas, enough seating for 6 to 8 people. Also lots of other areas to relax on grounds. House has great parking enough for large families. The farm house is situated next to an 18 hole golf course which is known for its wildlife scenery and is situated on the French Broad River. A beautiful and relaxing day will inspire a great golf game! Island Pointe golf club is open to the public and allows for last minute bookings. The house is 20 minutes to Knoxville, 25 minutes to Sevierville, 30 minutes to Gatlinburg, 25 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Also about 30 minutes to Dollywood. There are no other homes around this Farmhouse and your family will enjoy the privacy in the country setting. This is the perfect place to unplug from day-to-day activities and just relax. We have a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. And also a complimentary coffee and tea bar. Private breakfast and dinners are available for a charge. If you’re interested in this please contact the owner and they can give you more information. We also host private birthday parties and weddings. When guests are not staying at the house we are constantly working on the home. Due to its age of being 120 years old house there’s always something to do!

We had family coming in from 3 states for graduation weekend. The set up of the house and beds was perfect for our group of 10! The host even catered our meal (and it was delicious!). We loved the coffee bar and well-stocked kitchen. We hope to return!
It was a good place to stay for our team. It seemed to be private enough with out being too far away from our tournaments location. The campfire was perfect for us to sit around and bound and tell scary stories.
We had an amazing time with our family, celebrating a birthday and an early Christmas. The farmhouse was perfect, and our host was top notch. I would highly recommend this property. I look forward to using it again.
Par for the Course was a perfect stop on our trip from FL to northern TN for Scout summer camp. Plenty of space and beds, a terrific kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and a beautiful property! I hope to bring my own family back here.
Came to Knoxville for a concert with friends and needed a place to stay overnight. The house was clean, comfortable beds, and the fire pit was a nice way to end our night.
We enjoyed the property so much. Sitting by the campfire was a highlight for us. We needed a place to gather our family and celebrate a wedding. This place did not disappoint. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and enjoy themselves. Thank you so much!
We all had a wonderful, restful stay at this cute renovated home with wonderful history.
We watched the deer and turkey come out each evening and early morning. It was quiet, restful.
Thank you!!!
We had 5 moms and 6 girls (14yo) in town for a softball game in Knoxville. We all loved the place. The girls want to go back and live there! We didn’t have much time at the house, but the time we did was great. We all loved it!
We loved the property and hanging out on the front porch under the ceiling fan watching the birds fly by. Everything we wanted to do was within a 30 minute drive. The bedrooms were huge. There was plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks and plenty of space for our family.

Thank you so much for staying with us. We hope that you had a wonderful time.
The place is nice and quiet, we enjoyed staying there. the bad thing is that they make you do part of the housekeeping. and they charge cleaning services.
I stayed at this location with my team for a night on our way somewhere. It was such a great trip! Honestly one of the highlights. The house had everything we needed. We cooked dinner for 16 people and were able to make everything using the cook wear provided. Everyone slept so well in really comfy beds. Thanks for having us!
We stayed here for our church women's retreat and plan to stay again. Perfection!
We have stayed many places for our retreats, but non compares to this one. They go above and beyond! The pictures really doesn't do it justice. Traci was readily available, talked to her numerous times before stay, but we didn't have to contact her during our stay, because there was no issues or reason too. I would reccomend this to anyone 100%!

Thank you Mary! We enjoyed having you and your group at our home! We would love to have you all back anytime.
House was very nice, a lot of ladybugs, but considering the area we dealt with that. My granddaughters were instructed to check under beds for lost toys , where we noticed there was about an inch of dust, again it didn’t affect our stay, just a note for the cleaning crew
We had 13 of us, our extended family in town for our daughter's graduation at the University of Tennessee. What a great home! We didn't get to take full advantage of the property becuase we didn't get there until 8pm. We had dinner and made a fire outside. We spent time on the back deck and watched golfers hit at the range. We were able to get in early to unload our food and decorate. It was peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable! Coffee bar was great! Such a lovely place for gathering! Wish we had more time to appreciate it all!
This was an awesome place to stay, the owner is awesome as well in staying in touch. The work of the place was beautiful and not over the top. IF... I had a fuss of anything is the water pressure was lacking upstairs, downstairs was great tho, but owner did say that upgrades were coming w overall of this house...if you do not like staying in the hustle n bustle and like to travel back roads to get to touristy destination of the area, dont forget to deselect your highway directions on your gps to get around, being from Florida, these backroads cant hold a candle to the beautiful scenery and mountain travels. Thank you Par for the course for your opening your beautiful house.

This was a perfectly cozy home for our family of 17 to stay while attending our daughters graduation. The beds were comfortable, and we had all we needed.

We so enjoyed hosting you. If you're ever in eastern Tennessee again, look us up.
Our family gathered from 3 states to celebrate both a birthday and a family wedding. This house was perfect for our group of 14: 8 adults and 6 young boys. The yard and porches gave us plenty of elbow room and space for those boys to run off their energy. The kitchen was well- equipped and we even roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. We had a short 20 minute drive into Knoxville for a wedding and found an amazing birding park just about 1 mile away to take a couple of leisurely walks. Thank you to owner, Tracie, for her hospitality!
I took my adult kids and grandkids to TN for our annual family vacation. When we arrived we all fell in love with the house and it’s history. You just don’t find houses like this anymore.
There were plenty of beds, in fact 3 of the 5 bedrooms had 2 beds in each room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I brought my crockpot from home but they already had one there.
The cleaning crew had the home in tip top condition. They recognize the importance of keeping the home extra clean in Covid conditions.
There were 2 fire pits with lots of chairs to sit around the fire and relax. The yard was big which gave the 5,10 and 11 year olds room to run and play.
Tracie was great to work with and was always available by phone or text, both before we arrived and while we were there.
If we vacation there again we will definitely plan around availability of Par for the Course.
